I ran across this very interesting article on Raw Story, and thought I’d share some of it. You see, tRump is a tired old man. Every minute that goes by brings him closer to the end. So he’s bluffing and blustering nearly every one of those minutes as they go by. It’s the same about the Epstein files.
We know his thinking is slipping. We know we have to survive 3 and a half years before we get him out of office. Who’s to say he’ll make it that far? We know he made up “The Weave” to make excuses for the fact that he can’t keep himself on one topic when he’s speaking. He TACOs all the time. And how about his 2 or 3 am rants on Truth Social? While I was crashing through my newspapers on Sunday morning, reading about all the Republican blood and gore flowing down off Capitol Hill, I decided to settle my stomach, and try something else. So I poured another cup of coffee, rubbed my tired eyes, and googled: “ACTUARIAL LIFE TABLE OBESE 79-YEAR-OLD WHITE MAN.” The answer is roughly 86, maybe even less because all these tables I looked at wouldn’t factor in the “obese” part of my hasty query. You already know whose life expectancy I was looking into … Donald Trump is a very sick old man, and cult leader, who doesn’t have much longer.
This is coming from a news writer who knows how to do research before he puts anything out there. Look at what he is saying just in his introduction. I’ve seen the name multiple times, and this was *so* interesting I decided to build a column around it. We keep forgetting about Agent Orange’s age. That should be a factor to keep in the news, somehow, every damn day. After all, didn’t they do that to us about Biden? Funny how it doesn’t work the other way.
Even parts of Trump’s odious base are peeling away from him. Not because he is taking their health care away, or because he would rather see them drown than get help from catastrophic flooding that is overrunning so many of their towns, but because pedophilia is a line-crosser even for them. Rather than releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files as he campaigned on, to expose the “abuse of children by the elites,” Trump is just trying to make the whole thing go away. Wait’ll these MAGAs find out that Trump referred to Epstein as a “fun and terrific guy who likes beautiful women as much as (he does), and many of them are on the younger side …” They are promising this isn’t going away, but Trump is …
He really should have kept his yap shut about Epstein. Sure, we knew all about him through the news, but El Presidente Imbécil made a big mistake promising to release those files. And, like so many other promises, he’s trying to break this one, and it can’t be done. No, can’t be done, because of what Epstein represented. The worst criminals in the country hate pedophilia. I’m surprised it took as long as it did before he was killed.
I don’t see the end of Trump as the end of all our problems, but I do see it as a helluva hopeful start. He has re-exposed a dark underbelly of America that is only skin-deep. Nobody in my lifetime has been as effective at exploiting race and gender to his political advantage as this sickly old man. As every hour and day ticks by, we are moving closer to his end. That day is coming as sure as I am typing this. Not even a professional, lowlife grifter like Trump can cheat death. One day, hard as it is to imagine right now, he will be extinct, and it will be our jobs to make sure as much of his gruesome legacy as possible dies with him.
Time to close. You see now that we have to keep up the fight. We have a lot of fixing to do. Even when (I refuse to say if) we have a Democratic president again, it’s going to take one helluva lot of work. It may be decades for us to fix everything. So, we need to keep up and do what we can *now* to prepare for that hard work.
