That is the question, is it not? We know how easily they all lie. They bluster and bloviate to make themselves look good, to show how far above us normal mortals they are. Trump and his ‘cabinet’, the all-wise, all-seeing kings and queens above us all. They are all-knowing and powerful. At least they think they are. But they are mortal, too. Border Czar Tom Homan announced that President Donald Trump had agreed to end the Department of Homeland Security’s anti-immigration surge in Minnesota following the deaths of two U.S. citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti. “I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude,” Homan said in a speech on Thursday. “A significant drawdown has already been underway this week, and we’ll continue to the next week.”
Continue *TO* the week, or *THROUGH* the week. That sentence doesn’t make sense. It seems I am a mere mortal, after all (ha). It’s hard to remember when this thing started in Minnesota, let alone everywhere else, because so much has happened. At a guess, this started with LA this past summer. We should remember the videos of neighbors saying SHAME and calmly walking towards ICE/CBP. It was a one-syllable word backed up by people who care. We all care about our neighbors. Just because you don’t get along with someone doesn’t mean they should be dragged off and ‘disappeared’.
“We have a lot of work to do across this country to remove public safety risk,” he continued. “And to deliver on President Trump’s promise for strong border security and mass deportation, law enforcement officers drawn down from this surge operation will either return to the duty station or be signed elsewhere to achieve just that.”
Public safety risk *snort* If they’re so intent on reducing that, they need to go after the damn criminals, not people just wanting to live their lives in a better place. I’m surprised that *anyone* wants to come here anymore, and it’s a sign of how bad the place they are leaving is! But no, Immigrants Are Bad and must be removed. Immigrants are stealing our jobs.
