Trump announced today, through a statement read by press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, that he was revoking former CIA chief John Brennan’s security clearance as a matter of national security. Democratic representative, Bill Pascrell (N.J.) called Trump’s announcement an example of “Moscow politics,” and hit the nail on the head: Anyone who disagrees with Trump finds themselves on a “hit list”.
Pascrell tweeted, “Anybody that disagrees with Trump finds themselves on a hit list. John Brennan is a patriot,” Pascrell tweeted. “His faith to America is unwavering. We have a leader now who won’t tolerate difference in opinion. This is Moscow politics, in and out.”

In the statement, Trump accused Brennan of using his status to make “unfounded and outrageous” comments about him. “Mr. Brennan’s lying and recent conduct characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation’s most closely held secrets and facilities, the very aim of our adversaries, which is to sow division and chaos.”
Of course this retaliation comes at a time when Trump would like nothing more than to distract everyone from the Manafort trial and Omarosa’s new book….Oh wait!! It’s not NEW news? Oh, just new to the public. The statement is actually from three weeks ago.

Timing is everything. Especially when you need a smokescreen.
John Brennan is a patriot, as Pascrell stated, and we know his loyalty is to the U.S.A. Wish we could say the same about the Trump Administration…
