Yet another *bright* idea highly likely destined to fail. Where does he get these. Why doesn’t he think ahead. Answer will be obvious shortly. Good grief it gets more ridiculous every day. He’s not getting the one brain cell of orange cats anymore so just throws out something he thinks will be obeyed and hope it works. Not his problem. Here, team, makes this happen. Team rolls their eyes and tries dutifully to make it happen. As long as they have some sort of proof they tried he’ll probably be okay although The Child may *still* have a temper tantrum. But they tried *cough*
The Mango Mandarin wants to house 30,000 migrants in Guantanamo Bay. Ain’t happening. A source is quoted as saying “Maybe in the 1990s but certainly not now.” There a lot of things that would need to be done beforehand, like *get* all those beds and mattresses and bedding for the mattress, and that’s just a start. Military personnel to watch over them Cook and cleaners and laundry and, and, and. Of course he didn’t think this through, just managed to think of Guantanamo and *poof* the idea fairy decided to pass by and to give him this concept with no idea of what goes on behind it.
I figured he’d just keep going with the (ugh) deportations. But apparently not. Plus how do you GET them there? Plane? Boat? Going to need lots of guards during transportation to keep them under control. And what if they AREN’T criminals? Send them anyhow? Better off sending them home and not to GB because co$$$$$$$t. Pretty high co$t I would guess. I’m just imagining the whole thing in my head and I know I’m missing a bunch of stuff. I should make a list for fun because why not?
How much is this going to tie up assets of our military force that could better be used elsewhere? These days I would think that would also be a bad idea. With the unrest (heh) in Israel and all that goes with that, better off to have our military ready to go ASAP if something goes wrong. We’ve been VERY careful to NOT have to send our folks in. I’d like to keep it that way because if they do …. Not a good thing. And the list for that is scary. We don’t need to have our people in someone else’s war. We don’t even need to get involved more than we are. Yes, Israel is our ally but there comes a point when we should NOT say YES to our allies. no, NO, NOPE, HELL NO.
There are other countries hanging around willing to support the opposite side of the war. There are other countries trying to help STOP the war. It is one, no matter what is said. So also can we not open Guantanamo Bay? There are enough bad memories attached to that place. Let’s just not do it, please.
******And now, please read a very special message from our awesome boss******
Friends, I am forced to self-promote and ask you for money. We had a bad year compared with 2023 and the end of the year has been catastrophic. Traffic died on November 5. For PolitiZoom readers who have somehow ignored my previous comments/rants/screeds, allow me to repeat: The current President of the United States is insane. Not merely ignorant, or narcissistic, or cruel, or sociopathic — but INSANE. Thank you for your attention.
Dave, I certainly can’t (and wouldn’t) try to rebut your words. It’s Truth. And Truth comes out.
I have been wondering how long the powers behind project 2025 will allow trump to further prove his Caligula-esque level of insanity so they can invoke the 25th amendment and prop up vance as their user friendly rube/co-conspirator of choice..?
Oof, yet another good point!
I for one, have been wondering what he will do with the Chinese immigrants? I saw a news thing about how they were just walking in at the border near San Diego. There apparently was a hole in the fence that they were using. The story was that despite efforts to deport these people, China won’t take them back. Maybe GB is his answer to that. Although I’m sure he didn’t give it that much thought.
Cherl I love it when you comment. Always interesting and shows what has flown beneath (behind? above? Not sure of the correct term for it) my radar. Thank you.
Yannow, I think I should confer with you folks before posting since I always have a problem of some sort in my pieces that you correct, I’ll try to do better! Also, wow, Chinese immigrants, of course I didn’t think of that since I was more focused on what was happening “in” our country.
‘Getting’????? Nine years…surely you jest!
Scott, I’m not understanding your comment. Would you expand on it a little bit more?
Germany put most of its concentration camps on foreign soul too
