The Shoe Is On The Other Foot. And Trump Is About To Get Blisters

In one selfless, patriotic, party loyal act, President Joe Biden just gave the Democrats a priceless gift. In one short statement, not only did Biden quell the uprising in the Democratic party, and not only did he instantly remove Trump and the GOP’s most potent attack line going into November, but he allowed them to turn the tables right back on Traitor Tot.

For the last four years, Traitor Tot has had one central attack line, Sleepy Joe. Forget the fact that Biden is only three years older than Trump, and that Biden rides a mountain bike while Traitor Tot cruises around in a golf cart, Trump’s arrogant, bombastic, in-your-face style made him appear much younger than the more genteel, laid back Biden. At the Republican convention, Vice Presidential toad Gomer Vance made snide remarks about Nobody knowing what Biden is talking about these days. Trump threw away critical voters in his arrogant belief that his references to Biden’s dotage would put him back in the White House.

Surprise, fothermucker! You’re not running against your alleged senile old coot anymore. You’re running against a 59 year old black, female former prosecutor that is about to use her prosecutorial skills over the next three months to put you on trial as a third rate carjacker. What are you going to say, that she looks like an old woman?

But much more importantly, it’s now you who is now the oldest candidate in the race, and not by a lousy three years either. Try 19 years. And no more snide remarks about Biden being old and feeble anymore, you’re not running against him. You’re running against somebody who can run up the stairs to the stage, while you use a stair chair for six lousy steps.

I cannot stress strongly enough how the entire trajectory of the race just changed. Trump can no longer point at Biden as old and feeble. And even on his best day, Traitor Tot has proven repeatedly that he is much farther down the senility trail than Biden. Trump can’t even read three sentences off of a teleprompter without garbling and mashing up some of the words. And while Biden may have had the occasional embarrassing moment of an extended pause while he tried to think of the word he wanted, Trump never had that problem. For the simple reason that when he couldn’t remember a particular word, he just threw in any damn word that came to mind, creating an incomprehensible word salad.

And mark my words, this will come around to bite him on the ass. The Democrats will make sure of it. I predict that within the next 48 hours you’ll start seeing DNC and Supre PAC ads gleefully showing Trump slurring his words and mispronouncing simple words, followed by a rejoinder about Trump’s advance age of 78.

And you can bet your ass that the media, long constrained by the older Biden, will jump on the Trump age issue with both feet. People have long referred to Biden as a gaffe machine. But Trump isn’t a gaffe machine, he’s an illiterate idiot that can’t put comprehensible sentences together.

And now, whenever Traitor Tot makes a total horses ass of himself verbally at a rally or speech, and you know he will, the media is going to play those flubs, and then ask the campaign whether they’re worried that Trump’s difficulty in properly expressing himself raises doubts about his mental acuity, and his fitness for duty.

And it won’t stop there. The media will ask MAGA mental midgets like Mike Johnson, Mitch McConnell, JD Vance, Rick Scott, and GOP candidates for battleground Senate seats if they’re at all concerned about Trump’s age and apparent difficulty stringing two coherent sentences together making him possibly unfit to serve? And so will their Democratic opponents.

Now, of course the Trombies will already be locked and loaded with a preset line of bullsh*t pap, and none of this will matter a whit to Trump’s bovine, cud chewing base, but it really isn’t about them in the first place.

There is, at 100 days until election day, a sizeable bloc of soft Democratic, GOP, and Independent voters out there. And for the next 100 days, instead of hearing in the media and speeches about what a senile dotard Biden is, they’re going to be hearing almost daily about what a senile dotard Trump is. Biden isn’t even on the radar anymore politically. And unlike with Biden in the game, these voters now have a younger, more energetic, cogent progressive candidate to come home to.

News Flash! Biden’s withdrawal from the race has apparently unlocked the floodgates. The DNC is reporting a fundraising haul of some $30 million in the five hours since Biden announced his withdrawal from the race. This puts the DNC on target for their best single day fundraising haul in history. This is critical, not just for the presidential race, but because overstuffed DNC coffers make it possible to funnel money to the DSCC and the DCCC to help finance critical races in swing states and districts.

I’m not going to project that the age issue is going to be a knockout punch on Trump, but it sure as hell is going to have him leaning back against the ropes, trying to protect his ribs from any more body shots. Trump doesn’t take criticism well, especially when it’s about his vitality or virility. He is going to go feral with fury when these questions come, especially since he doesn’t have , which to sluff everything off on, and his hysterical rants will only add more fuel to the fire. Don’t touch that dial.
