It’s not only low class, it’s also against the law to use the image of a famous person to sell merchandise or to suggest an endorsement or affiliation with a cause or business where none exists — but naturally, the GOP clowns who support Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t think of that at all. The Trump Train was recently parked outside of their joint America First appearance at The Villages in Florida and it contained an unauthorized image of Queen Elizabeth II. She was not amused, apparently. Buzzfeed News:
Buckingham Palace has made a formal request to have a doctored image of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and a QAnon brooch removed from a “Trump Train” bus that was seen at a rally held by Reps. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene in Florida last week.
A Palace spokesperson told BuzzFeed News that they were aware of the fact that the Queen’s image was being used, saying “representations asking for [the photo’s] removal have been made.” […]
On May 1, [Buddy] Hall [bus owner] wrote that the bus’s current display would be removed in two weeks “taking TRAITOR PENCE OFF replacing with DESANTIS, Candace Owens, Don Junior, Laura Trump, General Flynn, Rand Paul and many others.” […]
On Monday, HuffPost reported that the website hosting company GoDaddy, whose logo is displayed on the bus, also reached out to Hall ordering its removal. […]
A spokesperson for Greene told BuzzFeed News that they were not affiliated with the bus but did not see any problem with the fact that the Queen’s image was being used. “You do know what a meme is right? Isn’t that what Buzzfeed is all about?”
“We’re sure Her Majesty has greater concerns than motor vehicle traffic in [the retirement community where the rally was held] The Villages — Florida,” Harlan Hill, a spokesperson for Gaetz said.
Gaetz and Greene, keeping it classy. And their spokespeople sound like rocket scientists, as you might expect. They do something tacky but rather than expressing regret for offense given, the offended party and everybody else is supposed to descend to their sub-basement sensibilities.
The hat is bad enough but the QAnon broach? Dear God. I don’t even want to know who thought it up.
Do they not understand that that kind of thing is what’s known as an International Incident? And that wars have been fought over less?
Add this to the list of legal charges against all concerned when it comes their turn in the dock.

I question saying those two are “educated”. In what exactly? Not sure but I don’t think degrees are given, except maybe in x-tian “colleges”, for a degree in being a moron. Did those two loons go to a real college or university? Seriously, if they did, I ‘d expect those institutions to cancel those degrees in a big time hurry.
