Yowza. This is definitely unexpected. They are very unhappy about Kenny Paxton. They have said the quiet part out loud, and it is LOUD. They are not going to support Paxton. There’s nothing going into the state. Kenny had better have a good campaign manager because his appearances in Texas are *wretched*.

Paxton is begging for money at his town halls. We haven’t seen any commercials yet. It seems odd not to have Republican support. He has to hope for help from the state. He’d better hope it comes through from Trump, although honestly, we know Trump doesn’t spend *his* money. Did you know he’s refurbishing a two-lane bowling alley? Guess who is paying for it with a ridiculous amount of money? Non sequitur. My apologies.

Does Paxton have anything going for him? He’s Trump Lite without the ridiculous amount of money Trump has. Although, questions keep coming up about Kenny and his 18 properties, and he lives in three of them, which makes no damn sense. It could be understandable if one is in another state for vacations or he rents it out. If only we could dig into those houses, even if it’s private, to see what is actually going on.

And now a word from a great website that gives me a springboard or a step up. Much appreciation to Raw Story:

President Donald Trump’s endorsement of a scandal-plagued would-be senator has earned him a cold shoulder from the Republican Party, according to a new report. “Republicans made it very clear to me, both operatives and otherwise, that they weren’t going to spend a dime on this state,” David Drucker reported. If Trump wants Paxton to win, he’ll have to put his own money where his mouth is, Republicans told Trump. What they told the president is, ‘You wanted Ken Paxton — You broke it, you bought it,’ Drucker said. “They’re like, ‘You can spend.'” Drucker called Trump’s failure to spend big on Paxton a missed opportunity. “They’ve wasted a summer,” he said. “The polling looks difficult for Ken Paxton.”

Is Kenny having a rough time? Aww. He needs someone who can work out the words and the money for the ads. And they should try to talk about Paxton and his characteristics to try to have something positive instead of attack ads. Wait. *Does* he have anything good? It may be a contradiction in terms. Did you know he has a bachelor’s and an MBA in psychology? Plus a law degree? How can he be such a despicable person, with all that knowledge? Well, he’s not getting funded outside of the state unless Trump comes through. Who knows what will happen, if anything? Looks like he’s in trouble. Good.

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

  1. The campaign ads for Paxton have started here in Texas. They are touting how how sued either Google or Meta and won a few billion for the people of Texas over a privacy issue. They also mentioned one other thing, I don’t remember right now. But the ads have started.
