Yep, we can’t seem to get rid of the thing, although it’s been put on hold by a court. That’s a small blessing. Keep it up. This time, information has come out that really should have been kept quiet. Not only do we know now, but the rest of the world can easily find out, too. As you will see, this is not a good thing. With respect to Raw Story:

A former federal prosecutor was beside himself on Monday while he discussed a report on the latest court drama regarding President Donald Trump’s ballroom project. Glenn Kirschner discussed a recent CBS News report on Monday detailing a suspicious court filing submitted by Trump’s Department of Justice on a new episode of his podcast, “Justice Matters.” The report seemed to indicate that the president might be “picking up his beloved Sharpie and making some edits or additions to those court filings before they’re submitted to the judge,” according to Kirschner.

Oh, mercy, Trump and his Sharpie. Wow, does he love those things. Remember the story about wanting a Sharpie in gold (which already exists) with The White House printed on it? Good grief, that was ridiculous. But he uses one for anything that requires writing, and it’s not the ultra-fine type, either. Why, we don’t know, but it has to be a ridiculous reason.

For instance, the court filing included details about the ballroom that “probably shouldn’t be disclosed,” Kirschner said. Those include plans for protective missile-resistant steel columns, a bomb shelter, and a medical facility.

We have to agree that those items should not have been available to the public and the world. This will give them all the time in the world to watch this being built, and they will know exactly where those things are. Then plans can be made. That’s unnerving when you think about it.

“I find it impossible to believe that a legitimate, self-respecting Department of Justice attorney authored this garbage,” he added. “It’s embarrassing. It’s an insult to the court. And more importantly, it’s an insult to the American people because that’s whose interests DOJ attorneys are supposed to represent.”

The current DoJ represents the Trump Revenge Tour™. They don’t represent the people. Ever. They represent the current maladministration. They tipped over the edge when they hung a banner of Trump’s scowl on the building. There’s no telling what’s going to be left by the end of 2026, let alone in 2028. It’s so painful to see how far this administration has fallen. *Everything* is about Trump. *Nothing* is about the people. They are on a path of no return. We may have to start from the beginning if we can get Trump out of office. That doesn’t sound like fun.

See you soon!

Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of elderly, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
