Friends, some of you have been emailing me and telling me you can’t get on the site. Unfortunately, when I make inquiry about EXACTLY what is going on, I get vague answers. I am going to contact the hosting provider, but I need to know certain things.
- Are you having problems accessing the site? If so, WHAT HAPPENS when you try to get on site?
- Can you solve these problems by going to a browser and typing in politizoom.com? If you try that, WHAT HAPPENS?
Is anybody having problems making comments?
I need as much detail as anybody can give me.
- How long has this been going on?
- What have you done to solve it?
- Are you accessing the site via computer or phone? Both?
I can’t see these problems because they appear to be random. I can’t get the technical people to fix them without a sound description of what’s wrong. They can’t see the problems either. So the people experiencing the problems have to be our eyes and ears.
Please be specific and detailed. I don’t know your equipment or your routine. Tell me what you’re using and what happens.

What was happening to me is that the same home page kept loading all day yesterday and most of today. I could tell new stories were being posted by checking the Facebook page, but the home page never changed.

Same. I kept trying to refresh the site, but for over 24 hours not a single new article showed up. I could have sworn that both Murfster snd Ursula had gone on vacation. Now, suddenly we have a ton of new articles from the past three days.
Also for me. Now, however the site appears to load properly.
I had this problem yesterday. The page would not refresh, nor could I post comments. I was still getting notifications about new stories though. I had never had to log into the site to post comments or refresh the page before. After several hours of trying to figure out what was going on, I finally decided to log in and then everything worked fine. I’m on a Lenova laptop running Windows, if that matters.
Give me a step by step description. 1. Where are you? Phone or computer. 2. What do you do? Type the site name in a browser, hit an icon, something else? 3. When you say the home page kept loading with the same stories, how often did this happen?
It seemed stuck on the 26th’s posting, but if I went to my notifications, a couple articles showed up under more stories.
Translate that for me, please. What did you do to find more stories? At least we know this happened the 25th, 26th. That’s a help.
I was on my computer. live in PA, usually use my microsoft browser, it reloaded the same stories at least 6 times for me until I found that work around.
So for two days I could access the site but nothing changed. The last story up was the one of the Joe Biden video announcing his run. Today I see the whole site, everything seems to be working and it looks like I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. I added a comment just now and it seems to be working. The same happened on both the phone and the computer. The site is working now on both phone and computer and I did nothing unusual to either device. I hope this helps
Whatever it is is random, and maybe it’s corrected itself. But this is good information. I had no idea anything was wrong until the inbox started to fill up.
I can access the site. I leave it open and pinned to my browser so when I open the browser PZ is one of several sites I frequent to automatically open. Until just a few minutes ago, refreshing the page did not bring up the latest blog entries. I had to access the site separately to find your latest entry, then replace that window with the previously pinned entry. Now, refreshing the page brings up your latest, so from my perspective, it’s working. The issue had been happening since I first logged on this morning around 10 AM.
I commented about 20 mins ago and it says my comment is awaiting moderation. If this posts, the site will be back to way it was before yesterday. I do not usually log in to the site and have never had any problems refreshing the page or posting comments. After some hours yesterday, I decided to log in and suddenly the page was refreshing normally. I did not attempt to post any comments, however, until this call for troubleshooting and discovered I am awaiting moderation.
(Moderator’s Note: I try to keep up and check the site at least once an hour but sometimes two hours or more can go by. Sorry – life does present various stuff and I’m not able to be here all the time. FYI I’m in the eastern time zone so if you make comments late in the evening my time that get kicked into moderation it will be morning before I can clear them through. Unless it’s one of those nights where I can’t get to sleep)
It’s suddenly working now, but hasn’t been for about 2 days: had no problem accessing site as such, but the posts consistently stopped at (about) Trump’s Running Wild, His Lawyer, Handlers Don’t Know What He’s Doing i.e. site wasn’t being updated. Was getting notifications ok, & could see posts from there. Pop-up window with actual latest post would often appear as normal, when go to site itself. i have PZ on my homescreen on Android phone. Using Chrome.
sorry i assumed you knew, as it was same each time – it happened each time tried – maybe 10 times. *this time* it’s all been restored.
25th 26th going on the site, just showed the old stories such as the one of Biden. This happened on my computer, on my iPad, and my phone. The newest stories could be seen in the daily email I get, and these could be read on the site, but only through the email. Same thing earlier today up until about 4 PM. It seems to be back. I am in South Florida. I am very glad it appears to be back. It is the best site that I read.
I was going to say I didn’t have any problems (Windows 11, Developer Beta) with Firefox and Gentoo Linux ‘unstable (again Firefox) until I went to post after commenting on another page to be greeted with “You are posting too fast” and my post on this thread was deleted.
Working fine now, but it appears that during the last few days your new content wasn’t being accessed by your server. It just kept diplaying the same stories from several days back.
I put Chrome into developer mode and found a few warnings and two errors affecting content. I’ve attached a screenshot of the log. I’m not a website developer, so I can’t advise on where the specific problem might lie. The errors in the log are probably not related to the updating problem, but they may help sort out some other minor technical glitches.
You might try running your site at https://www.webpagetest.org/. It will give you a fairly comprehensive test report with some tips on how to improve performance. Something to pass on to your website maintainer. Good luck!
iPad using safari
When I click on most popular I get a long delay and then this error (see attached photo)
This has been happening since April 26.
I am in France and my Politizoom ID is Catperson. I am not logged in as I have forgotten my password.
When I am on that error page and click on contact us, I see the normal contact page and then when I click the arrow to go back to the previous page I see this screen:
It seems to me that the articles are a bit old.
Your home paged seemed stuck on April 26. I was able to use the search feature to find articles dated April 26 and 27 and found the most recents posts that way. It returned to normal a few hours ago.
I’ve never been able to upload pictures/images into a comment. Video clips? No problem. But whether using Edge, or Chrome which I started using sometimes last year pictures don’t want to upload. So I gave up but for this comment I’ve tried again. I chose the file and “stress.jpg” does appear to the right of the “choose files” box but nothing shows up in the actual comment box. We’ll see if this time the actual meme posts…
Well damn! It worked! I actually have a “saltier” version someone gave me back when I was in the Marines. Before I left active duty I’d become the Vehicle Registration/Traffic Court NCO for HQMC which in those days was out of the Navy Annex in Arlington across the street from the cemetery. As was Henderson Hall where my office along with the rest of PMO was. (Sadly it’s no longer a Marine Post. It got folded into Ft. Myer which sucks. Anyway, while those coming to the window couldn’t see them I had a couple of cartoons up on the wall above my desk which were shall we say “colorful” in both theme and language. The Stress one had a guy with almost no hair, bulging eyes and open mouth like he was going to scream and big drops of sweat flying off his head. And the “saying” which I’ve cleaned up to post here was “Stress – That confusion when the mind overrides the body’s basic need to choke the living sh!t out of some a$$hole who desperately deserves it!” The other cartoon was pretty funny too. The thing is I and my staff were so used to them we forgot to take them down on the day the Officer assigned to proctoscope PMO for an IG inspection! It was only after he’d come into our little area when the light bulb went off in my head and I had my “Oh sh!t” moment. But given how cramped things were normally there was no way I could take them down and shove them in a desk drawer without him knowing. Fortunately, and atypically for an IG type this Major had a sense of humor. He tried (hard) not to smile but in the end couldn’t help himself and asked where I’d gotten them. (The pirate at the end of the plank mooning the ship’s Captain with a smart-a$$ed smile as he looked back – with the caption reading “A goddamned troublemaker to the very end! came from an old Playboy) He asked if he could make a copy of the Stress one even! (We got a terrific grade – and it turned out when he had me pull his own vehicle’s base sticker info. he lived in the same apt. building as me) Anyway it looks like I don’t have an issue (anymore at least) after all.
I emailed earlier today (roughly 12 hours ago as I’m typing this) and just came to the site about a half-hour ago and everything was fine. I saw all 23 articles that (presumably) appeared in the time since my problem occurred and coming back to the site; the last entry that appeared when I got “stuck” was “Watch: Joe Biden’s Official 2024 Election Kickoff Video” and the most recent entry when I got on this evening was “Trump Doubles Down on Not Debating DeSantis, Will Debate Biden.” Of the articles that *did* pop up in the “More Stories” box in the lower right corner, there were probably 5 or 6 that showed up but, after I’d click on them and read them, the “More Stories” box would disappear and going back to the home page just returned to the image I’d included in my email.
I forgot to note there WAS an additional quirk that happened when I first read the “Watch” article, as well as the “Trump Preempts Biden’s 2024 Run” and the “Bill O’Reilly Agrees Ray Epps” articles. For some reason, those articles loaded but the graphics at the top of the articles pretty much filled my computer’s screen and the “Newsletter,” “Support Us” and “Recent Posts” blocks took up half the screen area beside the articles themselves. I thought at first it was just a loading glitch but, even after refreshing the pages, the issue remained. I didn’t really bother worrying about it because that issue seemed to have resolved by the next morning when I checked the site. But the homepage remained stuck with the “Watch” article as the most recent story.
Oh. Also, I commented on some articles during the “missing time” period and the “Reply” box “lost” my name and email information (along with the checked “Save my name, etc” bit) even though a comment DID post but it seems like another comment didn’t post at the time (they do seem to have posted from what I saw while going back through the articles that went “missing”).
All my issues have cleared up today. I could always access the site, but starting about the 25th, I could not make a comment and see it on the page afterward. All the newer pieces had zero comments on my screen. I am using Windows 10 on my pc and using the chrome browser. Yesterday, I could only see older pieces but today I see everything. Also, when I could not post a comment, my name and email did not auto-populate under the comments box, but they do now.
It’s 2:15 am Eastern Time on Friday 4/28, and I’m having no trouble reaching the site or commenting. Whatever was wrong seems to have cleared up, but I never had any trouble reaching the site over the last few days. I’m running Windows 10 Home Version with all the latest updates and a Microsoft Edge browser, also with all updates.

Like most of the others here. When I opened the website, it would not refresh. for about two days, it was the same headlines with no updating. Glad to see you back up.
I could get onto the site but nothing new showed up since Biden’s announcement. Then, suddenly sometime in the evening of yesterday, all the blogs showed up.
I can access site on IPad but not iPhone. I get emailed daily stories and about 2 months ago it started being inaccessible on phone. It appears on phone email list and can see headlines and photos but if I click on a story (on iPhone) I get the message “Browser sent request server could not understand. Size of request header field exceeds server limit.” The same thing happens if I try to go to the site directly. I emailed about this when it started happening (can’t remember who tried to help me) but nothing seemed to work so I just shrugged and went with having to forego reading site on phone.
