She is whining and crying and doing the “poor, pitiful me” act. It’s not going to do her any good. Go off into your corner and lick your wounds, Susan Collins. The voters noticed the money you have. The voters (finally) have wised up and noticed you don’t do a damn thing in Congress except for a “strongly worded letter”, which we all know is worthless. She claims to do much and does very little.

She’s having a hissyfit because she lost. Well, if she can’t do the job, she should be defeated. Maine has seen a lot of her talking great things that don’t get done. One of the things at the polls was voters saying she votes with Trump. And possibly they were serious anti-Trump voters who are “fighting” mad about the hell we have descended into because our president is an imbecile.

She’s another example of being blind to Trump’s shizzle, and she averts her gaze, then sends a strongly worded letter. Again. It didn’t do anything the first time. Why would it do so in later attempts? There are a lot of Republicans being led by the nose who will never see him as what he is, when America knows he’s toxic. How can the non-elected people of America know something that their elected officials can’t? They work a lot more closely with Trump than we do, but refuse to see anything?

And something else of note: her opponent, Troy Jackson, had less time to campaign and still won. Now *that* is one helluva statement to Collins now, isn’t it? The voters spoke. Her constituents spoke. She always does what Trump wants, and Trump is wrecking the country and our reputation in the eyes of the world. His damn Forever War of Iran is hurting more than just us. No wonder our allies are backing away from us. Then Collins was tone deaf when asked about tariffs and was proud that she had gotten tariffs removed from road salt. We all remember that. She has done nothing for this country or her state that matters. Nothing.

There are a lot of Republicans who were shocked awake this election. They were clobbered by the blue-nami and we are glad, glad, glad. It seems the majority of people pushed by Trump have lost. Trump is going to be pissed for a long time. He can’t manipulate the country anymore. He has 2 months of Republican majorities, and it all goes away in January. There’s going to be a lot of pushback on his demands. Hopefully we will be able to get some things done for the country, such as Petey Boy Hegseth, although he may be fired in those 2 months, with nowhere to go. Fox won’t take him back. After what he’s done in his tenure thus far, he’s a hot iron and no one is going to want to touch him. Good.

Susan Collins is weeping and wailing about her loss. Who can she send a strongly worded letter to? No one. Her opponent won “fair and square”. Maine has spoken. Maine has said, “see ya!” Maine has kicked her to the curb.  Will she learn from it? Probably not, but we don’t need to worry about her anymore, along with some others. The voters have spoken.

Thanks to Raw Story for the jumping-off point.

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking is the ability to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
