Justice Sotomayor recently spoke out about the apparent problems of the Executive Branch and the Justice branch. These statements take place in the context of the tRump administration’s ignoring court orders. There is already one example in place with a judge finding the tRump administration in violation of a court order to restore funding.

There are experts who fear that the administration could ignore court orders, and what could happen if they do. Muskrat, JD Vance, and DonOld have already shown a disregard for law. There are double digits of lawsuits against what Musk has done thus far and I expect it will only increase as time and the cuts go on. Thousands and thousands of people are losing their jobs, all in the name of “efficiency”.

The Justice advised she was speaking broadly when she stated “Our founders were hellbent on ensuring that we didn’t have a monarchy and the first way they thought of that was to give Congress the power of the purse.” The constitution is built on 3 divisions for a reason. This is to prevent one branch holding too much power and ignoring the others when they want to. But Congress has become flattened with too much infighting and partisanship. The Justice branch is only as good as the people listening to it. Muskrat certainly seems to think he’s above the law. Again, I repeat, all he’s doing is looking at the numbers and not what organizations *do*.

What happens if the people bringing the lawsuits lose? It sends our country downhill towards a dictatorship with shadow President E-Yawn as a bonus. If we can’t believe in the rule of law, that leaves us with almost no options. It will be a free-for-all and it’s likely the people with the most money will win. They’re already showing signs of it with The Mango Mandarin’s Cabinet of billionaires. There are people in those positions who don’t have the slightest clue about what they are *actually* supposed to be doing. But they have money. They have money built on the backs of their employees who are only counters in a spreadsheet. They don’t care about the people.

We are in a turbulent time. Let us hope that the rule of law will win, even with a super majority of conservatives on the Supreme Court. Laws are in place for a reason and are not to be ignored.

******And now, please read a very special request from our awesome boss******

  1. The liberals see it. Roberts may have concerns. The other 5 only care about power and enforcing their morality on the rest of us. Plus Del strikes again.
