Ah, Steven, Steven, Steven. Are you a little touchy about your deity’s mental health? You certainly seem to be. And you’re not even creative in your responses. Tsk. If you’re the communications director, one would think that you were well-versed in public speaking sorts of things. But you just bring out the same old accusations every time someone says something about Agent Orange that you don’t like. Let’s start with the most recent example, shall we?
Soooo Steven Cheung seems to be getting tired of us theorizing about tRump’s mental health. Well, we wouldn’t be doing so if he hadn’t continued to give us reasons to do so. “I don’t know” is a really interesting answer to questions, and the Tangerine Palpatine, the man WHO PAINTS HIS FACE ORANGE, seems to think it’s perfectly fine. Well, it isn’t, especially on the question in the quotes below.
MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell had called Trump’s cognitive functions into question, speculating that his recent remarks —in which he said he doesn’t know whether it’s his job to uphold the Constitution, “could be a sign of mental illness, or it could be a sign of early-stage dementia in a 78-year-old man.”
“Or it could simply be the product of a condition that Donald Trump has been exhibiting throughout his public life since long before he got into politics, and that is, of course, Donald Trump’s trademark public stupidity,” O’Donnell said.
“In Donald Trump’s case, stupidity is the most innocent explanation for his ‘I don’t know,’” O’Donnell continued. “But during mental health month, we have a right to consider other possibilities.”
Now, isn’t that interesting? El Presidente Imbécil keeps digging himself deeper and deeper with his non-answers, which, if you think about it, he would have actually answered in his first term; he now tries to deflect them because he actually *can’t* answer. Is it because his mind is slipping? Seems to me that’s a perfectly logical conclusion.
“Every high school student in America is supposed to know the answer to that question, which is one word: ‘Yes,’” O’Donnell added. “But Donald Trump’s answer was ‘I don’t know’—which could be a sign of mental illness or could be a sign of early-stage dementia.”
But White House Communications Director Steven Cheung shot back at the veteran news anchor in a statement to the Daily Beast, accusing O’Donnell of “clearly suffering from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his brain.”
Yuh huh. That seems to be a defensive reaction because he can’t think of anything better. “Trump Derangement Syndrome”. *snort* Suuuuuuure it is. Or it could be that his mind *is* actually slip sliding away? Gee, ya think? There’s a lot of “I don’t know, I leave that up to my xxxxxx” insert whatever is applicable there, like lawyers or something. (Also insert rude personal comment about Cheung here.)
But a medical report released by the White House in April countered that Trump was in “excellent health” and showed “no abnormalities” in neurological and cognitive tests.
Trump, meanwhile, bragged to reporters about acing his cognitive test—but appeared unable to recall any of its questions when pressed.
Cheung has made a habit of accusing anyone who criticizes the president of having “Trump Derangement Syndrome”—including The Daily Beast Chief Content Officer Joanna Coles, whom he called a “piece of s–t” who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome in an unhinged rant.
Coles shot back at Cheung on the Daily Beast Podcast over his recycled insults. “I wanna recommend, as my medical diagnosis for Steven Cheung, that he buy a thesaurus,” she said. “Get a little more creative.”
So, to close, I’m going to theorize, and hopefully be a little entertaining. Seems to me Mr. Cheung has his own version of Trump Derangement Syndrome since he can’t come up with anything better as an accusation. That one is old, and tired, and worn out. And Trumpolini (thanks for the new nickname, priscianus jr!) can’t come up with anything better than “I don’t know”. This is proving to all of us people with brains (nice try, MAGA) that his mind really *is* starting to go. I just hope he can do some of the important things, like bargaining with China on tariffs, and helping stop the war in Ukraine, even if he has suddenly decided to support Putin. We knew all along that he admires Putin, but this radical 180 degree turn is a little disconcerting. Nevertheless, if there’s *any* chance at stopping the war, I’ll take it. If he can manage the first and help manage the second, wow, that will improve a lot of things. Those would be something better to remember from his second term, besides his mind going. I can hope, and we shall see. Thanks for sticking with me!

Zoomers, we are always in need of donations. It’s been an especially rough month, and my own health has not been great these past few weeks, which just adds to the frustration. Anything you can spare will be immensely appreciated. And thank you to all who have donated generously already. Ursula

It’s not like there was ever all that much mind in Trumpty’s head to begin with!
LOLOLOLOL as always, sir, you are correct! I wish I was good with photoshop or something similar, because it would be damn funny to show him with half his head split open and nothing inside! Steven Cheung is proving he’s almost as bad every time he opens *his* mouth, too. Don’t they make a great couple? (Snarks -R- Us stopped by…)
MAGA: “Trump Derangement Syndrome!”
Me: “You mean Trump’s Derangement Syndrome. Fixed it for you!”
*dies laughing* Awesome! Ohhhhh this is TOO FUNNY.
Like all presidents, Trump took the oath of office, in which he said:
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”. If he really doesn’t know that, or thinks that his lawyers can somehow get around it, it doesn’t change the fact.tha he solemnly swore to do it.”
If this is “the best of his ability,” then he’s clearly incompetent, because the best of his ability is dismantling the constitution rather than preserving, protecting, and defending it.
If he really doesn’t know whether it’s his duty to do this, then he is mentally incompetent.
And if he’s just saying he doesn’t know something he knows quite well, then he is consciously violating his oath of office.
