Four indictments in four jurisdictions with over twenty people charged. The charges cover a range of stuff, and while Miller might have had little to do with the goings on in NYC and the payoff to Stormy Daniels it’s hard to believe he wasn’t mixed up in the other stuff. Hell, even with the porn star payoff (and that of the Playmate of the Year too) since Miller was a key staffer for the Trump campaign it’s easy to imagine him being aware, and telling Trump “Yeah, if that Cohen guy can make it go away it’s nothing but a parking ticket for someone like you so do it.”
Bear in mind before being Trump’s guy he was former Al Senator Jeff Session’s senior legislative aide. Sessions if you forgot was the first Senator to go public and endorse Trump. The Evil Keebler Elf, having delusions of grandeur about being Attorney General recognized Trump didn’t know jack about political campaigns and some of the workings of DC and the RNC so he seconded Miller to the Trump campaign to help the latter avoid some pitfalls. Miller has been a devoted Trump guy ever since and a close advisor in addition to being a speechwriter.
Miller was “in the room” both literally (and often) and figuratively as in consulting with others in Trump’s inner circle. And not always getting along, but then Trump as we know has always like underlings clashing with each other. The point though is that Miller was there a LOT of the time to see and hear a LOT. And DO a lot, from giving advice to helping shape not just messaging but maybe even planning.
Think about the messaging part for example. Does anyone think Trump came up with crap like justifying taking records that should have gone to the National Archives, including highly classified documents and information using the Presidential Records Act as cover? Or even more ridiculous stuff like Trump claiming he could have that stuff because he was a former President, or had declassified it. (Even though there’s NO evidence he did) I for one can’t help but think Miller suggested bullshiite talking points to Trump. That makes him criminally liable doesn’t it?
Then there’s all the January 6 stuff. We knew even before the indictments (thanks to the Select J6 Committee) how extensive the leadup to that awful day was. The scope of it all. The multi-faceted approach. And Miller WAS taking part in discussions including being present at the WH on January 6 itself!
We also know from reporting such as this piece from CNN that in a day long appearance before the J6 Committee Miller was uncooperative, citing Executive Privilege (which Trump no longer had so Miller had no legal leg to stand on) for example. The article notes:
“It got a little chippy,” the source said, suggesting Miller was at times a difficult witness. Some executive privilege issues came up during the meeting, the source added.
Miller is under subpoena by the committee and had resisted attempts to appear, including by suing to block the committee from forcing him to hand over documents and meet for an interview. In its subpoena of Miller, the committee cited the role he had played in sharing false claims of voter fraud related to the 2020 election.
Take note of that last part by the way – the part about the role he played in sharing false claims of voter fraud. Again, I’m not a lawyer but from where I sit working with conspirators even if only to shape messaging makes Miller a co-conspirator. But let’s move on. Congress can exercise subpoena power and in theory has a tool to enforce it but they’ve always shied away from using it – from having the Sgt. at Arms lock someone up. At most they might, might refer someone to the DOJ.
Guess what? While Congress didn’t make a referral of Miller, once Jack Smith got on the case HE decided to have Miller in for a chat. As NBC reported, Miller spent six hours quite recently at the U.S. District Court building in DC “where the grand jury tied to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Jan. 6 Investigation meets.” The linked article notes:
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for Washington, D.C., last week denied an emergency motion filed by Trump’s legal team to block the testimony of several of the former president’s White House aides, including Miller.
U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell had ruled in March that Miller, Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows, Dan Scavino, who handled the former president’s social media, and others must testify despite Trump’s invocation of executive privilege.
The appeals court’s denial of Trump’s motion was part of a sealed proceeding, which means court documents aren’t public. Notice of the denial of the motion was posted on a docket that NBC News has confirmed is associated with the appeal of an order requiring Meadows and others to testify.
But here’s a provocative question: Did Miller actually appear before the grand jury? Miller and his lawyer didn’t say a word about what they were there for when they showed up. And Jack Smith & his team never say a thing outside of court filings and a rare, brief statement from Smith announcing an indictment that reminds people that charges aren’t convictions, defendants are entitled to the presumption on innocence and to read the actual indictment to learn what the charges were and evidence supporting them that can be made available at the time charges are filed.
But as the NNC article notes, Miller predictably fought appearing with plenty of legal precedent against him/Trump predictably lost. Including on appeal. Unlike Congress, DOJ has tools and sharp ones to wield against people like Miller. So in the end he showed up. I think it’s safe to say he wasn’t at that building to just hang out and tour the place for six freaking hours!
If he wasn’t actually in front of the grand jury Miller and his lawyer were engaged in a rather serious chat with Smith or his team. Yes, like anyone Miller had the right to invoke the fifth. That would leave Smith with an interesting choice – grant immunity which would dissolve that dodge and force Miller to answer questions. Truthfully I might add or be subject to perjury charges and that would be a helluva risk for Miller to take. Or Smith could, if he had evidence and again I find in awfully hard to believe there isn’t any that Miller took active part in the conspiracy.
That means if Miller wanted to hold out then Smith could indict him along with the rest of the gang. And so could Fani Willis who has Georgia’s RICO statute which I’m sure could easily have included a seat for Miller at the defense table. (a BIG effing table!) But Miller’s not charged in ANY of the cases!
I want to know why. I simply don’t believe there isn’t ample evidence to charge Miller on at least some federal crimes, or for state crimes either, at least in GA. Remember when I said to take note of that bit in the CNN story about him being involved in the fake elector scheme? You’d think Fani Willis would have no problem adding Miller to her cast of characters that will parade through the Fulton County Courthouse in the days ahead.
That leads me to consider an intriguing possibility. An awful one to contemplate but one I think is worth raising nonetheless. Miller is a f**king snake. Just like Trump he will throw any and everyone else under the bus to save his own miserable azz. He and his lawyer knew when they first started fighting Jack Smith’s subpoena they’d eventually LOSE and Miller would have to show up and either talk or plead the fifth. And I’ve noted what that would have led to. I hate, and I mean HATE the thought that Miller could walk away from all this with no consequence other than some serious legal bills to pay.
But what if during those six hours the other day, knowing that day would come Miller and his lawyer walked in with a Proffer? And had in fact long been dangling that possibility to Smith? I can see where it would in fact take six hours to go through it and negotiate terms, including the feds contacting Georgia to smooth things over down there and make Miller available for Fani Willis’ case. Six hours was nowhere near enough time for Miller to have his “Queen for a day” session – the confessing all, and I mean EVERYTHING to prosecutors. (If someone holds back the deal is off and everything they say can be used against them) Miller had to have seen way too much during all those years serving Trump to cover it all in only six hours. His Queen for a Day would take several or more days!
But six hours to go through a proffer of the highlights? That sounds about right. And again, I think if that’s what’s happened Miller’s lawyer has been working this angle since early on in Jack Smith’s tenure as Special Counsel. And that Miller might have even as a “good faith” measure have dropped some dimes on people, if not Trump long before the other day.
That my friends is the only explanation that I can come up with as to why we don’t see Miller’s name among the large cast of miscreants that have been indicted along with Trump. Miller has no soul to sell. But he’s not cut out for prison and he knows it. What he DOES have to sell (to prosecutors) is evidence that will bury Trump and others and if giving it up and taking the heat from MAGA nation is the price of staying out of prison Miller will pay it. There’s already talk of GA defendants probably exploring a deal, maybe even trying to get to the head of the line. The person, or maybe first two or three through the door gets the best deal. That’s how it’s always been.
I just have this sick feeling that Stephen Miller, someone so despicable I would feel no pity for if I watched him being dipped SLOWLY into a big vat of flourine and slowly dissolving might have beaten everyone through the door. If Smith made such a deal with such a devil I hope for his sake he didn’t shake hands on it!

I have often asked, here and on other forums: Where is widdle Stewie Millwer?
#6?
With you there, his absence from all this has puzzled me exceedingly.
Oh no…not Mr Miller…testifying to save his own nazi arse? What’s the use in having a lapdog that turns and bites you? I’m sure it will be exposed to the light of day eventually. Maybe he’ll follow history and run to Argentina like all good nazis.
Miller wasn’t and isn’t a lapdog. He is a,Tibetan Mastiff who.tolerated Trump as long as they were on the same side. And like a Tibetan Mastiff, as,Chinese oligarchs learned when owning one as a,status symbol, will turn on its master if they didn’t earn loyalty by a show of real strength. Trump.has always pretended to.have strength but underneath it ass is a swiveling g coward who settles out of court if the judge and/or jury aren’t in his pocket.
Miller flipped. He’d sell out his wife and firstborn son if it would keep him out of jail.
Perhaps the various prosecuting attorneys took one look at the poor bastard and said “no, looking the way he does he has enough problems”.
The “heat from MAGA nation” directed at Sleazy Steve could be a real problem for him. MAGAts don’t think kindly of rats nor apostates, and a flipped Miller would be both, bigtime. MAGAts tend to be heavily armed, too, so Stevie might not sleep too soundly from now on.
I simply cannot understand how people, even “experts” can keep harping on the controversy about executive privilege. Seems to me it was made crystal clear that there is a difference between official acts of a sitting president in fulfilling his presidential responsibilities, and any other thing connected to campaigning for re-election or certainly disputing a legally certified election. Had there not been such a distinction, Richard Nion would have been able to fill his entire second term. There is no privilege involved when acts are campaign related or when it is used to attempt to conceal illegal activity. That should have been dead in the water for Miller, as well as everyone else, as kind of interpreted by the courts with Meadows et.al. What IS the problem??
Forget little Stevia. Sure toss him in the fire but then move on. The prick I want to see go down is Jared Kushner. That covid response bullsh*t he ran was just plain wrong. Between him and daddy in law they are directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. Jared and his auction where he was stealing supplies that other people bought and then selling them to them. The ventilator controversy was just plain childish. And when they found a whole truck load of ventilators out in some public dump. Between that and his wife flying into China and getting handed thirty some patents by the Chinese. They are trying to prove Hunter Biden made illegal money. Those two were dripping in it and that punk Jared has blood on his hands. Investigate the real criminals. Whatever Hunter did was chump change to what those two did. Get your heads out of your a$$es.
