Mama mia, here we go again. Everything in the world of Donald Trump repeats itself, like a broken record. Trump didn’t have just one criminal trial, hell no, he got indicted four times. And not one civil trial, how pedestrian. No, Trump does everything in multiples, so he had the fraud trial, two defamation trials (pssst…the bills haven’t been paid yet.) And now he’s going on his third run for the presidency. And maybe 2028 will be his fourth run. It is too early to determine.
The Republicans in general are melting down this week into an inarticulate mess because Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are such a class act. The weak tea that the GOPers all dish is that Harris isn’t “talking enough about policy.” She’s been quite clear. She has said what she plans to do to cut taxes, get affordable housing built, help people buy homes, safeguard reproductive rights, etc. There is panic in Mudville because Trump, who is mighty in digital imagery and nowhere else, is striking out badly. And he knows it. His post-DNC call to Fox News was, to use his descriptor, a disaster.
I don’t know how much of that you could stand to hear. Here’s the part I thought was funny, only in a shorter version. Trump simply would not let the hosts end their show so another could begin. He didn’t want Fox programming to continue. To hell with Fox programming, he was on so he was the programming. Even Greg Gutfeld found it funny and if Gutfeld is laughing at Trump, we have come a far piece.
I’m wondering what the beep sounds were? Maybe somebody trying to grab the phone from Trump? Or, him trying to put another call on hold? Could it have been his lawyers calling, to tell him to not do anything stupid?
This sad charade is ready to come to an end. This is a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. Trump did all this to himself. By running for president he opened up a level of scrutiny that would not have been the case had he never run. And of course by mishandling classified documents, asking for 11,000 votes, inciting a riot at the Capitol, he brought those legal actions upon himself. Being president is a great job, as all the holders of it have said. But in Trump’s case, he used the power to do evil or attempt to do evil and he ended up painting himself into a corner. He could have been a wealthy con artist and the punchline of jokes for many more years.
But like Icarus, he flew too close to the sun and now he’s going to get fried. This is as good of a *rebuttal* as Trump can do and this is pathetic. 74 more days. And I just had an insight. I know why Trump talks about WWIII and the apocalypse if and when Harris/Walz get elected. It’s because it’s the end of his world. He won’t be able to get grifting income from the rubes and he’s going to have to attend all those trials.
He could go to prison for treason. The possibility of that is becoming more and more real.

I watched the long one on double speed and OMG you’re so very correct about how they’re feeling. At double speed, the body language is more pronounced and it’s clear they think he’s pathetic. Saying things like “it’s only in your mind that’s true” clearly reinforced their view. I am really loving the “weirdo’s” ignominious fall into ridiculousness. Goes along well with epic take down of Lindell by an *awesome* 12yr old and how other wanna-be “trollers” got relentlessly “trolled” 🤜🥸🤛💪👊✊🤘🤣🤣🤣😎
