There was a brief tape at the Republican National Convention which featured Rudy Giuliani and which said it all. He was walking down an aisle, stumbled, and fell onto the chairs. The way he stumbled looked like he had been drinking. So that was the anti-climax for America’s mayor and maybe this is the grand finale, his appearance at the Trump rally in Uniondale, New York today. He is raving out of his mind. You might want to check your volume control before you watch this.

I’m assuming he’s talking about the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump. Rudy will get you, future assassins of America. You think you’ve got trouble now, wait until the octogenarian drunkyard who looks like The Penguin is on your case. Oh, wait….now reports are dribbling in that Rudy meant to address those who rig elections and steal votes. Those are the “attacks” he’s talking about. Rudy, my man, you need to calm down or the only attack you’ll be concerned with is a heart attack. This is no way to live, for anybody, but not for an overweight guy in his 80’s who drinks a lot. What I find stunning is that Team Trump thinks an appearance from Rudy can help them? How, exactly? But then again, Sarah Palin has been stumping for Trump, so I guess anything goes in the MAGA GOP.
The good part is that this show isn’t going to go on forever. 47 more days. Then the show will change. That much we do know. I’m looking for a plot twist which has the Mango Messiah tending his flock from a prison facility. Heck, he can probably even play golf, so what? It might work out for Donald.
A pitiful downfall (see what I did there) for a man who used to be respected in many circles. Now, I don’t know how much of that respect was deserved but he did have it. Now? He’s a drunken joke.
