This is brilliant, particularly timing wise. The GOP toddler candidate is lashing back at any and every public figure that dares to disagree with him — much less call him out publicly. We saw this just today when Van Jones became the subject of Trump’s ire. Jones had displayed unspeakable hubris (in Donald’s mind) by praising Kamala Harris’s economic plan. Boy, did that get a blast from Mar-a-Lago, posted to Truth Social.
“Lightweight Political commentator Van Jones begged me, while in the Oval Office and with tears flowing from his eyes, to help get Criminal Justice Reform approved by the United States Senate,” Trump said on Sunday. “I got it done, with Conservative help, and this lowlife, Jones, never once called to thank me, or the others that helped, for what we had done.”
“Along with Opportunity Zones, the long term funding of HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, and much more, I’ve done more for our black population than anyone other than, perhaps, Abraham Lincoln!!! Sorry, but that’s the way it is!!!”
Trumpty is livid today. He’s on Truth Social showing a “real” and “fake” version of the crowd yesterday in Pennsylvania, where he claims over 11,000 people had to be turned away because the place was jammed (and big strong firemen, with tears in their eyes were saying, “Please, Sir, don’t jam any more of your flock in here.”) And Trump said, “Alas,” and began distributing loaves and fishes.
On to Rick Wilson and his taunts. This is brutally direct and aimed squarely at Trump, so watch him take the bait. I believe he will.
I don’t think Trump can resist something like this. My sincere belief is that he’s going to feel motivated to lash back and it should be epic, considering how inflammatory this is. In all events, Wilson is right about one thing. Trump’s cease and desist letters aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. Sad.

Trump is triggered right now. I think this will trigger him more. And Wilson is right, he does have the law on his side. That’s what the First Amendment says, no suppression of political speech. That said, Wilson and his family have gotten death threats. But we’ve gotten them here on this site, too.

my daughter spent a year or so with a business selling solar panels in Puerto Rico because she speaks Spanish. People in Puerto Rico have no faith in the electric grid and bought solar panels instead. trump never tried once to improve the grid there. They were brown people who usually spoke Spanish. yes, they are US citizens, with no representation in the government. throw some paper towels at them.
The fact that tRump sent them the cease and desist letter is proof that they are under his skin. I love that they will keep on needling him, indefinitely.
Ursula…sorry to hear that but it means what you are doing is working. If it’s any consolation, and having grown up with them, all I can say is once you decide you’re not living in fear, they mean little. What’s the saying? A coward dies a thousand times…the brave die only once.
