Say what you will about Steve Bannon, he picked the perfect anti-Democratic candidate. Talk about having a famous name, lots of cash and zero political instincts, that describes Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to a tee. Bannon projected that Kennedy would be the perfect spoiler candidate and Kennedy is so out of it that he doesn’t even know he’s being used. And here we are, Americans, watching the craziest group of people assemble in both parties for the 2024 election.

I wish Arnold would call Bobby Junior but I’m sure he’s got enough sense to recognize an exercise in futility when he sees one.
My personal prediction is that Kennedy’s campaign won’t grow any legs, but it doesn’t need to in order to do a lot of damage. Toxic disinformation is its own reward and if anybody knows that, it’s Steve Darth Vadar Dick Cheney Bannon.
A second prediction is that the Kennedy family may very well join the likes of the Paul Gosar family and the Adam Laxalt family and denounce him for the fool and the fraud that he is.

This guy rocketed away from reality at light-speed decades ago. Unfortunately his last name is Kennedy and worse, he’s named after his famous, accomplished and admired father who odds are would have become President. The most reliable large voting block has always been senior citizens and for a distressing number of the over 70 crowd this vile man’s name is all it will take for them to vote for him.

The anti-vaxx stupidity crossed political lines and had done so decades ago. There are a lot of people who would otherwise be considered progressive who subscribe to the anti-vaxx bull shit. Some for the dis-proven (in actual reputable scientific studies) autism angle, others because they consider putting viruses and such into their bodies rather off-putting, and then there are those who felt not enough research went into the Covid vaccines never mind there had been much research done in previous precursors to Covid-19 (MERS, SARS). I put it down to anti-vaxxers not doing good research on their own or not wanting or able to do so.
I listened to a co-worker expound upon how little, like none, research had been done for the autism-MMR angle. I then immediately found the Madsen Study in which over 500,000 children were part of a study to see if the MMR vaccine might cause or have some way of increasing the amount of autism cases. Short answer-no. There are numerous other studies which have proved the original study blaming vaccines for autism was very b.s.
I just don’t think people who can research effectively are doing their research. And some people are incapable.

I am, however,pragmatic so vited Blue in both elections/ On the right,it is right-wing evangelical Christians like Niecey-poo.
RFK Jr is coasting on name recognition alone right now. There’s plenty of time to educate the voting populace. His family, aside from his wife, have denounced his candidacy already. Should he begin to gain real traction, I assume they will become even more vocal.
