Ronna McDaniel is definitely on her way out. Nobody likes her. Plus, the establishment GOP is not going to be able to defend her once this gets out. Even Uncle Mitt will wave her towards the door, because this is truly indefensible.
If you go to Chapter 3 of the 845-page January 6 Committee Report which was released last night:
The evidence indicates that by December 7th or 8th, President Trump had decided to pursue the fake elector plan and was driving it. Trump Campaign Associate General Counsel Joshua Findlay was tasked by the cam- campaign’s general counsel, Matthew Morgan, around December 7th or 8th with exploring the feasibility of assembling unrecognized slates of Trump electors in a handful of the States that President Trump had lost.
Findlay told the Select Committee “it was my understanding that the President made this decision….”As recounted by Findlay, Morgan conveyed that the client—President Trump—directed the campaign lawyers to “look into electors in these potential litigation States[.]” President Trump personally called RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel days before December 14th to enlist the RNC’s assistance in the scheme. President Trump opened the call by introducing McDaniel to John Eastman, who described “the importance of the RNC helping the campaign to gather these contingent electors in case any of the legal challenges that were ongoing changed the results in any of the States.”
According to McDaniel, she called President Trump back soon after the call ended, letting him know that she agreed to his request and that some RNC staffers were already assisting.
No problem. Of course Ronna was on top of it. The defeated incumbent decided that he wanted to stay in power, what’s wrong with that? Maybe he could pull it off and wouldn’t that be grand? Then the GOP would be a fascist party, with its fascist Head Of State in place and these pesky election things every two years could be dispensed with. Great.
Take careful note of this, this is something you won’t see again in your lifetime, hopefully. The Chair of one of the two major political parties in this country agreed to help a defeated incumbent stay in power. She deployed staff resources immediately to this effort.
Trump made the decision that he wasn’t going to leave and one by one, Republicans began to fall in line behind him. They may have initially said and done the right thing, Lindsey Graham and Kevin McCarthy both did, but that changed quickly. The got right back on board the Trump train.
Ronna McDaniel was already toast, but this will seal her fate for certain. A scapegoat was needed and she was going to be that. Now, she’ll be kicked to the curb not just because a scapegoat is needed but because this revelation of her going along with Trump’s fake elector scheme is horrifically damning.

Let us pray that Ronna’s obituary is just the first of many within the MAGAt core of the Repugnican party.
She was on her way out before this. Now she can totally forget it. Which raises the question, who will succeed her? Is it even conceivable that Mike Lindell could get his foot in the door? How weird can this get?
Whoever gets it is going to have a very thankless job on their hands, Ursula, possibly worse than being one of Trump’s lawyers.
It’s really immaterial whether she was on her way out or not, not even important is “who” replaces her, and if it is indeed Mike Lindell.
What is MORE important is that this whole ordeal with #TraitorTrump and the #Election2020 has uncovered the scum-infested #RepubublicanParty. #TrumpIsALoser was right when he spoke of the “swamp”. He was staring the #RepublicanParty, under #MitchMcConnel and #KevinMcCarthy, in the face.
She should be on her way to jail. But as Hunter S. Thompson said long ago: if there were any true justice in the world, Richard Nixon would be in the belly of a hammerhead shark headed south of Easter Island. Ahhh Hunter. How I wish you were above ground commenting on this ongoing shitshow!
Worth remembering: McDaniel is no president and thus far less protected. Best guess is that she’ll be going down with the rest. And those going down at the top will be getting charged all at once. Setup time for the DOJ is nearly done. The fun part commences next year.
