Guess who is taking things too far? She’s taking something personally and blaming someone else for her failure. But then, it was ridiculous in the first place. She has no levels of ideas, so they are all over the top ridiculous. I don’t know what got her started on this one, but I felt it was going to fail the moment she made the “request”. They usually do. Extreme should be her first name. Now she’s blaming another Republican, not a Democrat, for her failure. From AlterNet:
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.)’s failed efforts to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) for what Mace described as “disgraceful remarks” about the assassination of conservative podcaster Charlie Kirk has her at odds with members of her own party, Politico reports. Mace, Politico says, is “locked in an escalating personal clash” with Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.). The Florida Republican joined three other GOP members of the House who joined all Democrats in voting down Mace’s resolution, which fell short on Wednesday by just one vote.
Yup. Our favorite idiot has returned. We all know and love to detest Nancy Mace. She really can’t do anything that isn’t exaggerated. Remember her going on and on about the sexual abuse? Complete with her naked picture? That really had nothing to do with her job in Congress, but she did it anyway. I would have been falling asleep by the third sentence, as in “oh, god, here she goes again”. And so, her latest ridiculous motion in Congress.
Mills cited “First Amendment issues” as the reason for his vote. This prompted Mace to accuse him and other Republicans of “stifling free speech” in opposing her efforts to do just that to Rep. Omar. Rep. Mills told Politico he reminded her about her comments about the January 6 insurrection: “What would have happened if you shared the video of you condemning President Trump over J6 for free speech?”
Touche, sir. I’ll bet she didn’t like being reminded of that since she is such a rabid Trump fan now, just like Marjorie Taylor Greene, aka MTG. She’d just as rather forget about that. I can’t remember the others, but I know they were just as inane. So now she’s blaming Rep Mills for the failure of her motion. That isn’t going to fly. There were 3 other Republicans who said no, also, so why pick out Mills to blame? I guess the answer is “because she can”. Good grief.
Mace called the GOP opposition “gross.” Mills said her outrage was more personal. “This is typical, I’m sorry, but like, I respect Nancy, I like Nancy, I’ve always supported Nancy,” he continued. “But she’s upset that she didn’t get one thing passed because she has some back-and-forth with Ilhan that has nothing to do with me.”
He’s correct. Apparently, she picked the closest target to use to whine and cry that her motion didn’t get passed. Well, it was pretty stupid in the first place. Another day, another “Nancy Mace has blown this out of proportion”. One thing it does for her. It gets her in the news. But it’s not in a good way. I guess she just needs attention. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want that kind of attention. If I were trying to get in the news, I would want it to be for something good. But this is pure Nancy Mace.
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. She has, evidently, Histrionic personality disorder. Look it up. Don’t forget it pairs well with the victimhood narcissists, like her, use to gain a sense of self. No psychiatrist I have known would accept her as a patient. It’s unfixable. Maybe Ayahuasca, but she couldn’t handle the truth.
