I just found out this interesting piece of news. MAGA is going to have a fit and it will be wonderful!
Turns out they didn’t think these deportations through. There’s only 41,000 beds to detain the immigrants. No more beds than that, although tRump keeps floating Guantanamo Bay. According to people there, sure they have space, but it would take a LOT of time and money to be able to get it in shape to house people.
Or, they would need to construct buildings, set them up, staff them, and more. Sooooo yea he’s deporting illegal aliens (and I’ve heard that a lot of people here legally are getting swept in with the illegals), except only 41,000 beds. And they need to be fed and taken care of to get them ready to go. So, money, money, money. Supplies. The Confused Carrot didn’t think this through and apparently no one else did either. Just fill those quotas and what’s needed will magically appear. Except it won’t.
I suppose I should get to the point, right? According to this article, illegals are getting released back out into the US with ankle monitors or wrist monitors or check-ins. They’re “putting” most of them back into the US. Now, planes are flying out to other countries every day but there are not enough to go, plus the expenses to use military planes. And I might mention that some countries are NOT taking them back. I guess this means they get to stay here for a while, which is what they wanted in the first place.
So the Mango Mandarin is doing what he promised on campaign – except it’s not working out the right way. Yes, they’re filling quotas – but no, they’re not flying all of them out or keeping them in some of those 41,000 beds. When I think about the millions of illegal immigrants, then think about what would be needed to “keep” them, it makes my head explode. Yea, he’s chasing down illegal immigrants, the people who will do the jobs that picky people won’t, and the people that just want a new life. It’s going to hurt a lot of places to deport them. And yes, I’m talking about crop workers and construction workers and so on. Then we get into more price increases, not decreases, and MAGA will have another fit. Or they might have multiple fits. Who knows?
Well, we know he doesn’t think. His cabinet doesn’t think, either. But, you would hope that SOMEONE has a clue. Unfortunately, no. I believe this is going to get bigger, and bigger, and more of a mess, until he can’t keep up with it and maybe the idiot half of the country that voted for him will start to notice (yea, right) what they did when they put this yahoo into running the country. We still have nearly 4 years to survive him. Let’s hope we do.

How many people at the local fast food joints won’t be there anymore? We have a small mom & pop breakfast spot that lost their star cook. They developed the menu with her and now she doesn’t come to work anymore and they have train replacements. I’m waiting for the general public to see the impact of this.
Housekeepers, Nannies, fieldworkers, fruit, pickers, chicken processors, gardeners, construction workers, etc. I guess Americans will be flocking to these new jobs.
Our special Governor here in Iowa has said she will follow new rules for Immigrants, however, she has not shown the lists of Americans lined up to work at those meat processing plants she favored during the run-up to Trump’s million-death pandemic non-handling it …
Typical GOP failures are in every direction you can look … Trump’s stupidity will eventually come to a screeching halt, a rock hard impeachment charge with plenty of examples of his incompetence in all it’s various ways to pursue those that were doing their jobs well, as he was sending mobs to attack our Capitol, and NOW is attacking the FBI and virtually the whole of government workers, because his new master, Musk, thinks it is a good thing … And, after all, it was the FBI that found virtually, hundreds, maybe thousands of secured documents hidden in Trump’s palace in Florida … Trump has burned so many bridges, even in recent photo-ops, signing port folio’s of things he cannot read or even understand … In his first run, was heard on open mic as he turned to leave, “Why didn’t someone tell me what I just signed?” Trump is the most severe case of a mental midget ever in the W.H.
All these insane attacks against others will be adding strength to a call for vacating his office …
