J.D. Vance spoke about both Obamacare and paid family leave. He chose to mislead, rather blatantly, on a mythical Donald Trump “building” upon the ACA. You remember all too well what happened. John McCain had the balls to do the thumbs down vote that struck down Trump’s destruction of the ACA, as Tim Walz pointed out. Politifact:
- As president, Donald Trump cut funding for Affordable Care Act marketing, outreach and enrollment assistance and expanded access to short-term, limited-coverage plans that Democrats call “junk insurance.”
- Enrollment in Affordable Care Act plans fell by more than 2 million and the number of uninsured increased during his term.
- Trump supported a congressional GOP repeal-and-replace plan, assailed Republican Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for his vote to kill it, and submitted a brief to the Supreme Court arguing for the act to be overturned.

Now, they’re talking about the stolen election. My oh my. We’ll see where this goes.
THE moment the winner was revealed: Beggar Vance headed to the Spin Room right after the debate. The local CBS affiliate’s reporter related this during the post-debate newscast, saying she was going to try to get into the scrum of reporters surrounding him for some questions.
“…GOP repeal-and-replace plan…”
NOPE! They wanted to destroy it but never had any plan to replace it. Which made their “concept” all the more egregious. They do not know how to govern, only how to dismantle and destroy. Nazis…Scott is right about that.
