Black Max, aka Michael Tuck, died this morning. He had only been in hospice a short time. The last time I posted an update there was confusion as to who Max was. He was a writer here for a while. I was going to have him come back and write some more when our finances allowed for same and that didn’t happen, As they say, life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
He was a keeper of feral cats. He loved them and they loved him.
He was working on developing a video game with a speculative fiction spin. I don’t know if he ever finished it.
Life is short and takes lots of twists and turns.
Love the people who are still here. We don’t know how long we’ll be together, none of us.
Rest In Peace, Max. If there’s a special place in heaven for cat people, that’s where you’re going and that’s where we will meet again, you, me, Murf and Mopsy. Until then, Adieu.

So sorry to hear about Black Max passing. I have cats, too and hope his will be okay now that he is gone. My dad passed last year and I have his old cat. I let him sit in my lap while I watch MSNBC. Otherwise, he sleeps in my dad’s old chair.
Max and his wife had many feral cats. I assume she’ll continue to care for them. I might get her to come do a piece here on feral cats. It’s an interesting topic.
Fellow cat lover…rest easy, Max. May where you head next be a better place than here.
Peace be with you Black Max. You will be missed
So very sad to read that Max has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge with the beloved cats that have gone before him. May you rest in peace and joy, Max.
~Mopsy
I asked our ten cats if they were feral. They replied, ‘Not now’.
Rest in peace Max.
I enjoyed Max’s contributions to Politizoom. So sorry he’s gone. ?
Sorry to hear about Max. I just suddenly and unexpectantly lost a friend a few days ago. Still can’t believe it’s happened and no idea what was wrong. We’ve lost so many these last few years. 🙁 Go in peace.
Our condolences to the Tuck family. Blessed be )O(
Thank you for this warm send-off, Ursula, and adieu, Michel. You will be missed. But hey, if you happen to bump into Harry Houdini up there, can you ask him how to send dispatches down here from up there?? I really wanna read them!
And if not, then rest in peace, dear friend to us all.
