Now that Rep. Lauren Boebert is preparing to leave voters in her own district hanging in the wind, you can bet a bunch of them aren’t happy. It looks to all the world like Boebert understands she has no possibility of keeping her seat in Colorado’s 3rd district since her Democratic opponent Adam Frisch has blown her right out of the water in terms of raising staggering amounts of money.
Boebert has announced plans to run in Colorado’s 4th district, which is more GOP friendly, Raw Story reports. That’s left one reasonably prominent Trump voter absolutely fuming.
Lu Cameron has quite the presence on Gettr, with almost 9,500 followers and she posted a video on December 28 expressing her unbridled anger at her “carpetbagger” congresswoman. She excoriated Boebert for “running away like a scared little bunny rabbit from a very tough race in a purple district” adding that the GOP congresswoman is “abandoning us because she can’t take the heat.”
When she did the video, Cameron appeared to address Boebert directly: “What are you doing here?” she asks. “Get your a** back home and defeat Adam Frisch. You SELL OUT!”
Boebert held on by a hangnail when she (barely) beat Frisch in 2022 by a mere 546 votes, and Frisch is happily taking credit for scaring his Republican opponent.
“Boebert is running scared. …Even before the Beetlejuice debacle that embarrassed her constituents, our campaign was polling ahead of boebert because voters saw that we were showing up in their communities and appreciated the hard work, authenticity, sincerity, and independence that this campaign embodies,” Frisch’s campaign noted.
While I will never, in my heart of hearts, be a Republican, I can’t blame Cameron for being upset. Boebert is thinking of herself when she should be thinking of those she purports to serve. I don’t think she’s ever cared that much about her constituents. If she did, they would see more of that. Instead, she’s behaved as if she belonged on the front cover of the Weekly World News thanks to her stupid little stunts. She’s leaving her constituents in the cold and Frisch is likely to win. That is fine by me, but Cameron seems to be true to her conservative roots so she’s standing up for her fellow voters.
And she really lets Boebert have it, comparing her actions to those of a “grifter whose primary concern is to get herself re-elected.”
Cameron even gets so upset at one point that she has to stop for a second and compose herself. Then she fires off more salvos, saying that she suspects Boebert “doesn’t want to be broke.”
“She lost her restaurant and divorced her husband and, you know, i’mnot sure if she has any source of income outside her congressional salary,” cameron said. “so that’s what it’s all about. she’s just trying to save her job.
“she thinks she’s so popular that she, she’s entitled to just, just keep collecting your taxpayer money.”
Boebert could have been out there for her constituents, but instead, she’s been out there persecuting the LGBTQ+ community, including offering mere “thoughts and prayers” after last year’s horrific mass shooting at Club Q (an LGBTQ+ nightclub) in Colorado Springs, where five people died. And let’s not forget that this is a woman who prayed that Joe Biden’s “days be few.”
Oh, and she’s also spewed anti-immigrant bile, posting things like “Biden is giving each illegal family $2,200 per month plus a free plane ticket and free medical care. If you come to this country illegally, you get everything handed to you on a silver platter. If you’re a struggling American citizen, you get nothing. You actually subsidize this foolishness.” The Washington Post researched this and pointed out that it was flat-out wrong and “worthy of four Pinocchios.

But even though this is completely wrong, it went viral and Boebert hasn’t taken the post down so more and more gullible people are reading this and believing it to be true. The woman is really good for nothing except spreading hate and Cameron points out that this new district she’s running in is so deeply Republican that a “Democrat has no chance of winning.”
She should fit right in.

Out of a job? Are there no stripper poles? No lap dances? No massages with happy endings? Come on boobert…your assets haven’t slid south yet. While your young enough…get out on the street and start earning. I’m sure there are enough rich lawyers, bankers, private equity managers on vacation, with a snoot full of blow, willing to let big bills rain down on you! Sure…it may not equal the 175k of free money you now get, but it’s a new year and a new start.
It could be the first of many ‘happy endings’.
She should return to her previous job (BEFORE her ptomaine cafe).
After all, whoring was the only thing she was good at.
I wonder if she NEEDS a third term in congress in order to secure her pension (I think it doesn’t kick in until you’ve served 6 years).
