I don’t like Liz Cheney because of her political viewpoints, but she has big, clanking cojones made of titanium!

President-elect Donald Trump has long suggested he would try to prosecute his political opponents, and House Republicans delivered him a new opening on Tuesday through a report recommending that GOP former Rep. Liz Cheney should be prosecuted by the FBI for her role in probing the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.
Trump, who has said Cheney should go to jail and even amplified posts on social media calling for a televised military tribunal for her, said on Truth Social Wednesday morning that Cheney “could be in a lot of trouble” based on the report released by House GOP Rep. Barry Loudermilk. Trump’s elevation of the report carries even more weight considering he has chosen loyalist Kash Patel, who has a retribution list of his own, to lead the FBI.
She lost her position in Congress after she was on the J6 committee investigation, and she dared come out for Kamala at her rallies (I considered that to have been potentially dangerous for her, because you never know who might have a gun, and she is not well-liked by many people any more). And they’re STILL out for her blood.
Why is he still frothing about “punishing” her? What is SUCH a big deal that he won’t let go of this? Yes, she voted to impeach him, but so did others. Yes, she was on the J6 investigation, but so were others. Is it because she stood up to him publicly?
This obsession of The Mango Messiah is ridiculous. I simply can’t figure out why he has such a “mad”-on for prosecuting her. He just won’t let go of this idea and that was literally years ago!
I guess we have to say “because he’s tRump and almost never makes any sense”. And that is an aggravation that can’t be helped by anything, any information, even any hear-say. He just doesn’t make sense. That … infuriates me.
But we really don’t have a real, understandable reason from that little orange head. Soooooo, let’s take back our Congress in the Midterms, 2026, and THEN we will have a little control to get things started the right way!!!!

She’s a woman who dared to stand up to him. Like all bullys, he’ll get others to do his ‘fighting’ for him. I wonder how you can throw someone in jail with a mountain of public testimony and factual evidence to prove their case. Of course that was the old Union. We are barreling toward authoritarianism.

You absolutely said the whole thing here. Spot on. Definitely a handmaid’s handmaid’s tale scenario. All those insecure, nasty little men couldn’t stand it when Cheney told truth. And so they had to see her done. She should’ve been their candidate.
We all know how he is about women who stand up to his meanspirited bullying! No mystery there it’s just who he is and his deep seated anger toward women. Ask the articulate and brave Mary Trump, his niece, who has inside knowledge of his dangerous mental illness.
52% of the white women still voted him for president. It’s more a statement of US than on orange haired felon
the felon doesn’t like strong women and he really doesn’t like strong women who publicly disagree with him. That is why Ms Cheney has been targeted, like all the other commenters have stated. I wonder if felon’s mother was a strong woman who emasculated his father (and him) or if she was meek and never said a word?
Biden should pardon her Kinzinger and the others asap.
