Unlike some on liberal blogs who are so cool they can tell the media that the media has been wrong to cover Trump’s tweets – theory being that it gives him a platform to make unquestioned pronouncements – I think it would be media malpractice to not report the snapshots into the mind of the increasingly paranoid, near demented man. Clearly, the investigation is getting to him. Today, he went over the edge.
First, there was the retweet (with an added “Disgrace” of Mark Penn’s tweet referencing …well, here, you read it:
Mark Penn “Why are there people from the Clinton Foundation on the Mueller Staff? Why is there an Independent Counsel? To go after people and their families for unrelated offenses…Constitution was set up to prevent this…Stormtrooper tactics almost.” A disgrace!

What is this thing with Mueller’s staff stuffed with Clinton Foundation people, something that is A) not true, and B) Irrelevant, and then transitioning into Nazi comparisons? “Stormtrooper” tactics? Really? That would be a disgrace if any of it were true.
But the real gold lies in Trump blaming James Comey for Trump hiring Paul Manafort:
As only one of two people left who could become President, why wouldn’t the FBI or Department of “Justice” have told me that they were secretly investigating Paul Manafort (on charges that were 10 years old and had been previously dropped) during my campaign? Should have told me!

Paul Manafort came into the National campaign at the very beginning, not late, and was only in “a short period of time,” ONLY because the media noticed that he had rather strange contacts with Russian businessmen in Ukraine, and some rather strange things happened right around that time with the RNC platform with respect to the campaign, that’s why you fired him, Sport.
Otherwise, Paul Manafort would be your chief of staff.
Had you been a real candidate, who vetted people properly, YOU would have found those connections yourself and probably figured out by yourself that you should not have hired Paul Manafort as your campaign manager. Of course, I am pretending not to know that you and Paul had been doing business with the same Russians for the last ten years, and you in fact, sir, jackass, sir, were also on the FBI’s radar for quite some time prior to that period.
And why do you keep pretending that the FBI never told you anything, Snowflake? The FBI DID sit all your asses down and told you specifically that the Russians were trying to infiltrate your campaign. I guess you presume that the country can’t google? Because if we did, it might only take us 10 seconds to find this, from NBC News:
In the weeks after he became the Republican nominee on July 19, 2016, Donald Trump was warned that foreign adversaries, including Russia, would probably try to spy on and infiltrate his campaign, according to multiple government officials familiar with the matter.
The warning came in the form of a high-level counterintelligence briefing by senior FBI officials, the officials said. A similar briefing was given to Hillary Clinton, they added. They said the briefings, which are commonly provided to presidential nominees, were designed to educate the candidates and their top aides about potential threats from foreign spies.
The candidates were urged to alert the FBI about any suspicious overtures to their campaigns, the officials said.
Clearly, Trump has found the “bad guys” to blame in all this and it is the FBI and not his stubby-fingered campaign. Trump is utterly losing it, never been more paranoid, nor had a better reason, he can feel Mueller moving in the tall grass, stalking. And all Trump can do is pound his half-inch thumbs into a phone.
