“Jeffrey Epstein, the financier who hanged himself in a federal jail in Manhattan, was supposed to have been checked by guards every 30 minutes, but that procedure was not being followed the night before he was found, a law-enforcement official with knowledge of his detention said.
In addition, the jail had transferred his cellmate and allowed Mr. Epstein to be housed alone in a cell just two weeks after he had been taken off suicide watch, a decision that also violated the jail’s normal procedure, two officials said…
…A person with knowledge of the investigation said that when the decision was made to remove Mr. Epstein from suicide watch, the jail informed the Justice Department that Mr. Epstein would have a cellmate and that a guard “would look into his cell” every 30 minutes…
But Mr. Epstein’s cellmate was later moved out of the special housing unit, leaving him alone, the prison official said.”
And, naturally, prison “officials” are trying to place blame on the guards rather than owning up to their failure to insure protocol was followed:
“The two guards on duty in the special housing unit where Mr. Epstein was housed were both working overtime, the prison official with knowledge of the incident said. One of the corrections officers was working his fifth straight day of overtime, while the other officer had been forced to work overtime, the official said.”
Not going to go all C/T here, but it’s apparent that procedures put in place to keep Epstein alive were not being followed. And the guards would not, it seems to me, be empowered to make a decision about moving his roommate on their own.
Rather than libeling the Clintons on his Twitter feed, BLOTUS should be demanding a full accounting.
Unless a full accounting is not what he wants.

Blotus will not demand a full account because he knows he’s connected. I do go full C/T on this situation. That Sasse said that Barr needs to keep all evidence intact. Why? He knows Barr will suppress, even destroy, any evidence that will find 45 guilty. A guy on MSNBC who was a lawyer against Epstein, said that Epstein cared too much on how he looked. He would not have hung himself. And…..the first report was that he was found “unresponsive” and CPR was administered. Then he stuffed a sock down his own throat. Then, again, he hung himself. Unless a toxicology report is made public, with no redactions, etc., we won’t know what killed him but it wasn’t Epstein himself. I go to my grave standing in that truth. Epstein knew too much about 45 and many other high profile figures.
Everyone needs to clamp down on AG Barr, way too many spider webs in his past, AND NOW, completely and openly risking EVERYTHING in his own lifetime and a future in prison to protect DJT …
Something is very wrong in the WH and DOJ/AG Barr … maybe Barr was once a guest at a party or two with Epstein ..?
Barr has Russian connections. Go back to all the dots. There’s an end that justify their means, and we don’t know what in the hell thgat “end” is except an autocracy with an extremely weakened U.S.of A. to the benefit of Vlad and corporatocracy.

If you watched the show the lawyer had to interview Epstein as a defense lawyer for one of his victims. He had to get to know what the hell was in his mind. We all know 45 is a malignant narcissistic psychopath. Epstein too was a narcissist. He did NOT kill himself.
