Never Forget The Nature Of The Beast

Earlier today I wrote about there being no reason for the Secret Service being surprised by Trump blurting out that he was going to march to the Capitol with the protesters. The catch is that Trump had been pressuring aides and staff for two weeks to get the Secret Service to set it up. And they blew gum off.

Which started me thinking. And what it started me thinking about was command and leadership. What caught me immediately was the fact that Traitor Tot had been pushing the Secret Service for two weeks to set up either a match path or a motorcade to get him to the Capitol with the protesters. Their response? Fuckin’ fuggedaboudit. Too much hassle. Which begs the question, Who’s the President here?

Whenever there’s a mass national tragedy, like a hurricane, tornadoes, wildfires, flooding, or God forbid, another mass shooting, the first thing the White House does is to schedule a visit for the President to the site when it doesn’t interfere with local efforts. And when they do, the Secret Service doesn’t say, Fuckin’ fuggedaboudit, too much smoke or too much water. They lock into the task, set up the logistics, and the President makes his appearance.

Am I alone here if I think that if President Biden called in the head of his Secret Service detail and said, It’s time to show Vladimir Putin how serious we are in our support for Ukraine. I want to leave on the 15th. Set it up, will you? And if the lead agent had said, Fuckin’ fuggedaboudit, it’s a war zone, too dangerous? Biden would have lifted a hairy eyebrow and said, Excuse me? At which point the trip would go forward as scheduled, or the lead agent would find himself investigating bank robberies in
Anchorage, Alaska. Biden knows the power of the presidency, and how to use it.

Donald Trump rode into the White House on the illusion that he was a brash, arrogant, aggressive real estate mogul genius with a spine of steel, and balls of titanium. But it was all nothing more than carefully crafted media spin bullshit, and I can prove it in real time.

Cast your mind back to the dark day of January 6th,2021. Vice President Mike Pence had been under hammerlock pressure from Trump to foul up the electoral vote process to keep Trump in power, yet Pence refused to buckle. As a result, on January 6th, Pence was in the Capitol, doing his constitutional duty when all hell broke loose.

Pence, his family, and staff had to be evacuated from their hiding place when it became untenable. They were taken to a secret, undisclosed basement location with a limo purring. His lead Secret Service agent told him, Sir, the situation isn’t safe. Get in the limo, we have to get you out of here. To which Pence calmly replied, I’m not getting into any limo. His lead agent told him, We can’t guarantee your safety here Sir. He have to evacuate you! And Pence replied, Look, I know you, but I don’t know these other people. If I get in that limo, they may not bring me back, and I have a job to do. So I’m not getting in the car. And not a single Secret Service agent lifted a finger to force Pence into the car. A true demonstration of leadership and power. They worked for him.

Never lose sight of this fact. Trump is at heart a bluff, big mouthed arrogant coward with balls of silly putty. He is a bully without an entourage. If Trump really wanted to march down the street to the Capitol, or motorcade to the Capitol, all he had to do was to order the Secret Service to set it up!

In his business life, Trump scrupulously hired only toadying sycophants for senior positions, and then set them against each other to keep them from challenging him. As President, when his Chief of Staff, General John Kelly defied him, Trump folded. When his General HR McMaster defied him, he folded. When his Defense Secretary Mark Esper defied him, he folded. And then fired all of them by tweet in humiliation. When the senior staff of the DOJ defied him, he folded. And when White House Counsel Pat Cipollone defied him, yet again he folded.

I present this as a cautionary tale for weak Trump supporters and independents who fell for the scam the first time around. Trump is not the carefully crafted media image he portrays himself as. He is a sociopathic dotard who is at heart a coward, and no moral compass whatsoever. And if he returns to the White House in 2024, this time he will ensure that there are no personalities stronger than his in the Oval Office to keep him from indulging his dark impulses. You’ve been warned.
