This is a breaking news story in the nine o’clock hour, Pacific Time. There aren’t a great many details but what is being reported is disturbing. It was said that these random attacks on boats would continue because this is Trump (and Pete Hegseth) looking to create a backstory which will allow them to do some kind of crazy invasion when and if they deem it necessary. Now they’re in the normalization phase, which is to wipe out yet another small boat for the same reason: drug smuggling.

This is from two days ago. And if you go to Google you can find tapes from very recently. This is a definite pattern, there is no question about that.
This is not a one off deal. This is getting to be treachery on the high seas. The United States might as well start flying the Jolly Roger.
One would certainly want to question the common sense, not to mention business acumen, of people who send out personnel and product, knowing that the U.S. is going to just keep blowing it all up. How many times do you need to do that before you decide you’ve got to develop a different business model? Or, maybe the drug cartels aren’t the wrongdoers here? Maybe innocent parties and property are being killed and destroyed?
More details will come out on this particular “bust” if that’s how this is being characterized. But for right now it seems like a violation of international law and murder. We are not at war with any island of the Caribbean, last I knew. Trump and Hegseth are planning something very stupid. That’s the only thing you can rest assured of.

We have said it here many times (and we’re not alone) that when something really blows in this administration, it will be with Hegseth. we’ve already had SignalGate and then the persecution of leakers inside the DOJ. Now we see these bizarre killings on the high seas. Something will blow. It’s not a matter of if, it’s only a matter of when.
