The revenge portion of Donald Trump’s CPAC speech was anticipated and all the usual suspects that you expected to be named were. As expected, particular vitriol was directed at Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney. The mob boss former guy wants you all to know the price of disloyalty. Kevin McCarthy escaped wrath because he kissed the ring — and Trump’s ass — at the appropriate time, so for the moment he’s safe. But not so these other people.

Trump’s his own best cheerleader. Who’s got the power? He’s got the power. His mere utterance of an endorsement will guarantee the endorsee is a winner — of course, he managed to lose the White House, the House and the Senate, the last of which Mitch McConnell will never forgive him. But Trump needs to be feel omniscient, and this crowd was eager to jump into the fantasy play on stage along with him, and take the red pill.
Trump ended his pitch by once again teasing out that he might run in 2024 but not saying as much, merely “a Republican president will take the White House. Who might that be?” We have no idea, Donald, but it won’t be you and we all know it.
Trump’s theme song, “YMCA” played, but this time he did not dance to it.
As stated before, there are emergency ad hoc focus groups meeting right now. This was not what was expected. All that this achieved was to show how utterly rudderless and out to sea, taking on water, the GOP really is.
The enemies list will grow longer as his days as a free man grow shorter. And it will barely matter.
I can’t wait for him to disappear. I’ve watchedhim slowly dissolve quite happily.
Let’s hope he keeps his choke hold on the fascists. They can only last so long with an obstructed airway.
He’s still using “YMCA”? That’s weird. I wonder whose choice that is. And why does he always stay at that weird diagonal angle with his left shoulder tilted in front of him?
Goddamn. When I grew up, snowflakes fell quietly. Now all I hear is whinning, wailing, & the gnashing of teeth. Hey, why not get an early start on Hellspeak since it will be useful in Hell?
