Markers Are being Laid. And Trump Is Too Stupid To Realize It

I must start this with a personal aside. As I watched the highlights, or lowlights if you like of the totally peaceful transfer of power today in the legislature, I realized something. Traitor Tot has accomplished one of his fondest dreams.

Trump has long been jealous of the far reaching political power of the late, totally unlamented conservative commentator Flush Limbaugh. Many people have forgotten that a couple of decades ago, when Limbaugh was reaching his zenith, he actually had a weekly television show, The Rush Limbaugh Show.

It was a disaster. Think of The Jerry Springer Show without the tits, fights and swearing. The audience was a couple of hundred fat white clowns in cheap suits, who jumped to their feet every time Limbaugh took a breath screaming Ditto! Ditto! They became widely known as The Dittoheads.

When I watched the tape today of the GOP House members surging to their feet, cheering, clapping and whistling as Vice President Harris announced the results of the presidential election, I suddenly realized thar Trump has his own army of Dittoheads! Two hundred and twenty slobbering howler monkeys in cheap suits slavishly saluting the Cheeto Prophet. To be honest, it was creepy.

But now on to the main event. Clearly Trumpty Dumpty hasn’t learned a goddamned thing. His ill advised trade tariffs against China led directly to the demolition of the UW agricultural grain industry, requiring massive government payoffs, as well as decimating the Northeast and Pacific Northwest seafood industries, from which they haven’t recovered.

And now we’re heading into a very scary place with possible national security imp-implications, and the political moron has no clue as to the potential hornet’s nest he’s fomenting.

Trump has put together a total blivet of must do list on day one. The basic problem is that many of the must do items on his list require administrative action, and he doesn’t have any of the cabinet members in place to be able to give those orders. Basically it’s just another f*cking dog-and-pony-show con job.

But there’s one thing he’s proposing that can already land him in the soup. One of the things that he’s promising on Day One is to start mass deportations of undocumented immigrants back to their home countries. Unutterable bullsh*t. There is no actual system in place, either computer listings, nor law enforcement mechanics to start shipping immigrants back over the border on January 20th.

But that doesn’t mean that foreign leaders aren’t taking notice. In a speech today, the President of Honduras announced that if in fact Traitor Tot starts chucking undocumented immigrants, including Hondurans over the border, the Honduran government may have to rethink the longstanding agreement with the United States government for land rights for a major US military base in Honduras.

This is serious sh*t. This base has been up and running for decades. And making the decision to order the US military to shutter the base and leave would have a devastating effect on the local Honduran economy. Many Honduran locals are employed on the base as maintenance and administrative employees, and the surrounding area benefits from off base spending of US dollars. But anybody who knows anything about Latin America knows that nationalism is the ultimate trump card.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And the Pampers President has no idea of what he’s doing. This imbecile thinks that because these are emerging democracies, and impoverished to boot, as long as he has his big swinging d*ck of military might, they’ll fold like an Amazon suit.

But some of these countries have their own hole cards to play, like Honduras. If my understanding is correct, that base is in a critical location for our drug interdiction efforts. Closing that base leaves us with a deep black hole in the supply chain from Colombia to Mexico.

Trump’s ego makes it impossible for him to realize that other people have their own chips in the game, and without billions of dollars at their disposal, have land rights to critical US bases and infrastructure that they can blow up with a simple legislative vote.

This is the real risk of the second Trump term. I’m not worried about his moronic domestic agenda, MAGA Mike has a smaller majority than Cave-In McCarthy had. The Democrats will drive the House agenda. But the damage that Emperor Numbus Nuttus can do to US national security through pure ignorance and bluff and bullsh*t is something that could literally take us decades to recover from. Keep your eye on the international ball people.
