Let’s file this under You Don’t Have To Be Nostradamus To See It Coming. Donald Trump will endorse every and anybody that says nice things about him. He would endorse syphilis if it went around saying what a great guy Donald was. So it makes total sense that syphilis personified in a human being, namely Mark Robinson, would get Trump’s endorsement without anybody bothering to vet him. I keep bringing Thom Tillis up in this Robinson/Trump conversation. Senator Tillis went on record today that Mark Robinson should step down in deference to the GOP as a whole and Trump as a candidate. Expect that to be heard like a kitchen timer going off in the middle of a raging hurricane. Here’s the latest on the cleanup on aisle 45.

Trump has a lot of damage control to do in North Carolina tonight. If Harris wins North Carolina, a proposition that is not beyond reason at this point, then Trump basically has no path to victory. I’m sure that somebody in his entourage has broken that news to him. Or, maybe not. Maybe they’re all just showing up to get their paychecks while they read the want ads and call people about post-election gigs for some other politician. That very well could be. Frequently when you’re on a sinking ship the best thing to do is check out the lifeboats and forget about trying to fix the breach in the hull.
And once again I remind you of what happened with the Nazis post-Nuremburg and which I, among others, predict will happen with MAGA Republicans. The post-Nuremburg Nazis all claimed that they were never really Nazis, they just had to pretend to be so that they wouldn’t get beaten up or killed. Post-Trump, watch for hoards of MAGA Republicans to find a way to say that they never really were on board for Trump to begin with, they simply pretended to be.
I’m talking about the likes of Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley, Mike Lee, that whole crowd. It will be positively comical to see them recant their MAGA fealty. But history does repeat itself, first time as tragedy, second time as farce and that’s what I’m waiting for when the final, acrimonious divorce happens between Trump and the GOP. And no, I don’t know who’s going to get custody of Lindsey Graham.
Traitors and cowards have no loyalty. When Tom Tillis turns on you, you know you’re toxic even for someone who honors nothing but power. Ole Tommy stood in the senate raising his hand on the Holy Book and swore to hold an impeachment trial…twice. He then let the traitor off twice marching along with myrtle the turtle. He’s no better than Robinson, nor was steal the money Burr, or the Trump supporter Budd. They just like to pretend they aren’t child killers with no loyalty to the constitution or the oaths they took. Robinson’s mistake is saying the shit out loud and clear. Hey boys…my advice is next time you go shopping for an uncle Tom to cover your racism…get someone more skilled about lying, and hiding behind faux principles. Call Budd’s office and ask the staff where he stands concerning the black nazi or supporting Trump and you get ‘we’re not at liberty to say’. See?
