As Joan Rivers used to like to say, Can we talk? There are so many things going on right now, so quickly, and in so short a period of time that it’s difficult to keep up. Be of stout heart. This deluge should start to back off next week, once the Don Cornholeone Crime Family as I like to call them. are arraigned in court next week and their trial dates set. Until then, it’s my job to step back, look over the carnage, and find the needle in the haystack before everybody sees it.

And this is, in my view, important. A couple of weeks ago, Fulton County DA Fani Willis announced sweeping state RICO indictments against 19 different miscreants, including Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman and Sidney Powell, along with a whole passel of local Georgia lowlifes. She gave them two whole weeks to surrender to the Fulton County DA for processing and bond assignment.

And what happened next? Right out of the gate, almost before the ink was dry on the indictments, Mark Meadows went screaming to the federal district court in Atlanta and asked for his case to be reassigned to federal court, sine he was a federal officer executing his federal duties when the crimes occurred. Then Meadows jumped the shark by demanding that the federal judge dismiss the charges outright due to his specious claims of executive privilege. When the judge assigned a hearing date after the surrender date deadline, Meadows imperiously demanded that she delay his arrest date until after the hearing. When Willis flipped him double barrel birds, Meadows pleaded with the federal judge issue an injunction on his arrest until after his hearing. It was only after the federal judge turned him down that Meadows submitted meekly to the booking process.

What? The? F*ck?! Traitor Tot is busy fundraising off of the indictments, almost everybody else involved is lawyering up and making arrangements to turn themselves in and get their bond set, and Meadows is busy running around with his hair on fire, doing everything in his power to get as far away from Fulton County as possible, space travel not necessarily off of the table.

For God’s sake, Meadows has been busy running around garnering more attention than Trump, but not for the same reason. For all the world, Meadows looks like the four year old with the crumbs on his chin and shirt screaming I didn’t take the cookie Mom! And this is completely out of character for Meadows.

From the formation of the January 6th committee, Meadows has gone out of his way to maintain the lowest of profiles. As Chief of Staff, Meadows is the Keeper of the Lost Souls. And as such, Meadows went as far as he could to be cooperative with the J6 committee without exposing himself. The e-mails and texts he turned over were a treasure trove for J6 investigators. Then he disappeared. Refusing to testify for the committee, they referred him to the DOJ for prosecution. They declined. Meadows refused to testify before the Smith grand jury, as well as the Fani Willis grand jury until forced to do so by subpoena, but only after fighting the subpoenas in court.

Because Meadows completely disappeared from the radar, for a while it was suggested that Meadows was actually cooperating with the Smith investigation. This supposition was bolstered when Jack Smith announced the Trump indictments. Not only was Meadows not indicted, he wasn’t even named as an unindicted co-conspirator. That fueled the speculation even further that Meadows was cooperating.

But whatever Meadows was or wasn’t doing with the Jack Smith federal investigation, he sure as sh*t wasn’t doing it with Fani Willis in Fulton County. And as a result, Willis spanked him with multiple RICO charges. Whereupon Mark Meadows promptly lost his collective sh*t.

Again, why? There’s only one answer that makes any sense at all. Mark Meadows is by nature a federal creature. He was in the United States House, and accumulated some clout. An early Trump supporter, he was a trusted part of the Trump inner circle. And as Chief of Staff, Meadows was arguably the second most powerful man in the west Wing, after Trump himself. In other words, he was untouchable.

But Fulton County DA Fani Willis doesn’t give a sh*t about all of that. She didn’t just touch Meadows, she slapped him across the chops with multiple RICO violation charges. And Mark Meadows is scared sh*tess. because he’s seen the indictments. He knows she has him dead to rights. And none of his DC clout means jacksh*t in Fulton County, Georgia. Therefore his desperate frenzy to get his ass transferred to federal court, where he can try to use that clout one last time.

But what if his federal court gambit fails? Make no mistake about it. At heart Mark Meadows is a chickensh*t coward. And to a silk BVD’s guy like Meadows, if there’s anything worse than a federal prison, it’s a Georgia state prison. Meadows was a North Carolina congressman, he knows what the inside of a state prison looks like. And if Fani Willis gets the chance to grab Meadows by the old short-and-curlies, Meadows will roll over on Trump like a puppy looking to get his belly skritched. The rest of Mark Meadows’s life comes down to the decision of a single federal court judge, and possibly an appellate court. We’ll all know soon enough. Don’t touch that dial.

  1. I had a similar take on Meadows in https://politizoom.com/mark-meadows-too-speshal/. I reckon, in addition to being scared sh*tless, Meadows is naive. He left a safe seat for life to join the mayhem of Trump’s admin in February 2020, right after it had become obvious to every sane observer that Trump was going down in pandemic flames. Who does that?

Then he somehow managed to release to the Jan 6 committee enough text messages that not only implicated a bunch of his friends but also himself before realising this was perhaps… maybe… a bit of a mistake whereupon he abruptly ceased all cooperation.

Then he ran away and hid until Jack Smith came calling. I’ve no doubt that any of Smith’s very professional prosecutors could have easily put the fear of God into Meadows to get him to cooperate. But I reckon he’d already promised more than one person that he wouldn’t cooperate with Fani Willis. He kept that promise in the naive belief that a district DA didn’t have the reach to touch an important federal official like him.

He’s also naive enough to believe that cooperating with the federal and very powerful Special Counsel would also inoculate him against a mere district investigation. I bet he was shocked to the core when he realised Jack Smith hadn’t passed on the message to Fani to back off his important cooperating witness.

So here he is, in front of a federal judge, and still under the illusion that he’s too important to be tried at the state level. He’s going to be crushed by the sheer weight of actual reality when the judge rules against him.

    • This guy is the one I feel is most likely to do a runner. They should slap and ankle bracelet on him and tap all his phones and his friends’ phones.

    • “…in the naive belief that a district DA didn’t have the reach to touch an important federal official like him.”

There is the possibility that he thought he could “control” a State prosecutor in Georgia the same way he used to be able to do to the miscreants in his own home State.

      Wrong again, lamebrain.

    • Well I think you have a slight miscalculation about Meadows. It’s not that he promised crap about Fanni Willis. He just didn’t acknowledge her existence. Whatever else you got, Mark Meadows is part of the old aristocracy in the south where you spend your afternoons sitting on the front porch sipping Mint Juleps and having small talk with your friends. This is also where a black person might be allowed to sit on the porch but Lord help you if you think that black person will walk through that front door. They did a movie on it, can’t remember who played in it but they were all sitting there and guys wife I guess called them to dinner. The black man rose as if to enter with his host and the host was where the hell you think you are going. You are privileged to sit on my porch but I’ll be dammed if you walk through my front door. I’ll have your black whatever and so on. I’m sure you get the picture. Anyway, that’s Mark! And when he found out about that he probably blew a gasket for that black woman trying to charge him. This is the problem in our country now. People don’t believe that this is still going on. Well I might suggest you go ask those three black boys down in Jacksonville whose only crime was being black on the wrong day whether you still have this type of racism in or country. Of course you might have to talk kinda loud because I believe they buried them already. You see that’s the part that gets overlooked.but it’s true. When he actually found out and found out that she’s got a case that’s very likely to put the ringleaders in jail which includes him he really started freaking out. Bad enough to throw down five hours of testimony at a hearing that usually nets fifteen or twenty minutes. And I would tell Trumps to either call Putin and arrange for a hotel suite or call his tailor and arrange a fitting for his prison jumpsuits. Because when you are that fat a jumpsuit makes you look like some sort of rodeo clown 🤡.

  2. Another stoopid, ‘christian’, lying, evil, hypocrite! You know mark…if you’d actually followed Jesus’s teachings and warnings, like you claim to do, your arse wouldn’t be in the bear trap.

  3. Eglin AFB has THE Club Fed. The sleeping arrangements are mostly two people suites with a shared bathroom. It used to.be barracks for Es. What is wrong that we are housing convicted criminals in the same rooms we used for people who voluntarily enlisted to serve their country?

  4. The most self-harming thing he did was to testify at the hearing was to testify, by which he waived his Fifth Amendment rights. And you can’t take that back – not with regard to the same facts.
