I don’t know if this uber offensive defense on the part of Chris LaCivita is going to do him any good. I guess we’re going to find out. Rick Wilson is of the opinion that Donald Trump will probably start asking for names of other political strategists, if he hasn’t begun to do so already. He said that yesterday in his Substack column. Meanwhile, MAGA is not happy with the turn that things have taken. And so they have sent hate memos, for lack of a better term, to LaCivita and we can only assume that the image you see above is his response to that. Or, maybe his response to life in general. Remember Brad Parscale flipping out at the end, in 2020? And the cops came and carried him away from his house in Florida? We may see something along those lines in 2024. Meanwhile, here’s Chris’s fan mail.

He is giving them the finger. That much is plain. I must say that this is something I’ve never seen a campaign manager do, let alone to his own party. This is new.
When you've lost the confidence of "Rawdog Rapist", you need to reconsider your life choices.

I’m not clear if Rawdog Rapist is another MAGA or if it’s Trump, himself, since he’s been called that. Possibly both are true. This is a great take on yesterday’s fiasco in Chicago.

That is probably the case. Trump thought he had it in the bag — although I don’t believe that was ever the case. I think that the way things are going now, we’re in a different ballgame and Kamala could bring this home in a landslide. But I never believed that Trump was simply going to walk back into the White House, when Joe Biden was still in the race. I believe Joe would have beat him but it’s a different ballgame now, so let’s concentrate on it.
The difference for Trump, though, as Stuart Stevens points out, Trump *thought* he had it wired. And now he is coming to understand that he totally does *not* have it wired. In fact, it is slipping away from him with each passing day.
And we’ve only just begun. Kamala’s campaign is less than two weeks old and look at the cash and goodwill pouring in, people signing up to vote, volunteer on the campaign, all kinds of amazing things happening. Trump, in his tiny, reptilian brain, senses all this.
Let’s see if there’s a shake up vis a vis Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita. Trump said he didn’t want to debate Kamala in September due to the “chaos” on the Democratic side. There’s a lot of chaos, alright, but it’s in his own shop, his own campaign.

I smell FEAR!
I love the smell of fear in the MAGA. It tastes like democracy.
Barring something really earth shattering I think we are on our way to clearly having enough votes. The only question is whether it will be a solid margin like 2020 or a true blowout. The PROBLEM will be getting the votes counted, and more importantly CERTIFIED. Team Trump has put a ton of time and effort into replacing people in counties in an awful lot of states who won’t buckle to public pressure to do the right thing and certify results. Without all the counties submitting tallies that means STATES won’t be able to certify results and submit a slate of electors. If enough do so and Harris can’t get to 270 electoral votes it throws the election to the House, with rules that allow each state’s Congressional delegation to cast one vote. That could be a problem due to states like mine (NC) that are gerrymandered to give the GOP the majority of seats in their House delegation even though if you add up the popular vote in some states (WI is another) Democrats actually rack up more votes statewide! We all know what GOP delegations in those states, sitting in safely gerrymandered districts will do. A “double bird” version of the title pic.
That’s why we have to fight like we are twenty, even thirty points behind AND the Harris campaign needs to have a small army of not just lawyers but election lawyers well versed in their respective state’s laws (in every county in every state and an actual team in some counties we already know are going to be a problem) with pre-drafted legal filings to drop the day after the election.
Yes, denis, like Trotsky or Stalin said, it’s the guys who count the votes.
I’ve been “warning” about this for over a year now. The good news is that people are waking up to the reality of LaCivita’s earlier statement that “The election won’t be over until Inauguration Day!” more seriously. Lawsuits after the fact WILL NOT HACK IT for the good guys.
I am hoping for more information about the counter-plan to filter out what our plan is, although giving your enemies your plan is not always a good play.
What I AM seeing is that THEIR plan is to have a small handful of goobers in small districts in swing/many states NOT certify the local votes, thus delaying the State count certification, and thus holding up the national vote certification. That snowballs into a lengthy enough delay to move the election into the House. But, but, but…democratic voters scoff: since we have won the popular vote by massive amounts and won the Senate races and voted a majority of Democrats into the NEW house… But if the vote count delay works, the House remains what it used to be, under squeaker johnson. And guess what this Supreme Court will do?
As Murf says, Watch this space…
Rachel Maddow has been talking about this already too. So there’re some nationwide eyes on it. But mebbe we should be calling our congresscritters and raising some alarums and excursions? I’m gonna.
I’m less worried about certification than I am the counting. Red state legislatures are drooling in anticipation of stealing this election for their cult leader. If they were in any way worried, they’d actually care what von shitzinpants says. They don’t because for them it doesn’t matter-they are going to choose whoever THEY want to win the prez race. I wish I could believe otherwise but I can’t. We have two states who won’t even be putting V.P. Harris on the November ballot-and I live in one of them. Thing is, MT for instance, wasn’t in play for Harris so why bother unless they’re worried about Dobbs (depending on who wins seats on our s.c. there might be something to worry about–if you’re a woman that is). This indicates to me they’re not too worried about the damn fool things the imbecile does while campaigning: they have a backup plan.
I don’t know what President Biden has up his sleeve to make sure this is a free and fair election but I hope he has a plan. I especially hope he has a plan for the possibility of another traitorous coup attempt by magats if V.P. Harris is certified and I hope the plan includes taking these m-f*ckers out completely. Grant made a very bad mistake at the end of the civil war by not trying every southerner who committed treason by fighting against the U.S. Let’s not repeat that mistake…again.
Can someone explain what agency would be charged with making sure the county elections are run properly, untainted by the traitors who have infiltrated the operations? These moles are the proverbial Fifth Column, and unless they can be removed and replaced by legitimate, honorable officials, Trump’s confidence in “winning” will be well founded. He thinks the fix is in, and it’s up to us to take it out.
The FEC would certainly be watching things although I can’t recall them ever doing anything more than watching for campaign finance violations. The FBI/DOJ perhaps? I hope not because garland can be counted on to do one thing: f*ck it up.
That photo looks like an obnoxious dumber version of Curly of the Three Stooges. Where are the other two? JD Vance, yes. But who’s #3?
