The Mango Mandarin’s people have put in an emergency request to the Supreme Court about being blocked from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan men to El Salvador. We all know how I feel about that. And we all know how much I love the judge, Ho Ho Ho. Plus, the appeals court kept the temporary block in place.
Soooo, in its application to the Supreme Court, lawyers for the administration argued that the matter was too urgent to wait for the case to wind its way through the lower courts. Ha. From the NY Times: In the government’s application, acting Solicitor General Sarah M. Harris said the case presented “fundamental questions about who decides how to conduct sensitive national-security-related operations in this country.” “The Constitution supplies a clear answer: the president,” Ms. Harris wrote. “The Republic cannot afford a different choice.”
But if the actions break the law, they should have to answer for them. Maybe the AEA says they can just grab and go. But that rule was put in place for WARTIME. How arrogant to think the lower courts mean nothing, and they are too conceited to admit they’re wrong! Maybe they should have paid attention to the reason that the capture and deportation were blocked. Can we even guess how many of the Venezuelans were NOT members of Tren de Aragua? But, you see, under the AEA, they don’t *have* to give them any notice and they don’t *have* to allow them to have due process and legal assistance before flying them out! That is just WRONG in SO many ways.
Men are being deported to that hellhole of a jail with no warning. I’ll bet a lot of them won’t survive it. And allow me to rant on, but off subject. Kristi Noem and her publicity stunt at the prison were *disgusting*. She has no idea how to dress properly. With the tight shirt, hair down, and a $55,000 Rolex? It made me want to vomit. Seriously. At least she got torn UP on social media. Well done, folks.
So, back to my ranting. Talk about vanity. Vanity is the word for all of Agent Orange’s cabinet. These people have no idea what they are doing. From the rest of the NY Times article that I could get to: “The justices set a speedy briefing schedule for the case, asking that lawyers for the immigrants file a response to the government’s application by 10 a.m. on April 1. The case will offer a major early test for how the nation’s highest court will confront President Trump’s aggressive efforts to deport millions of migrants and his hostile posture toward the courts. Mr. Trump has called for impeaching a lower-court judge who paused the deportations.”
Back to the impeaching thing again. Makes my eyes cross. Jerk, you really *can* be told NO. The judges are not the pushovers Traitor Tot thinks they should be in any case that involves him and his people. DUDE. It doesn’t work that way. They’ve not been getting their way on a *lot* of things. You’d think they’d learn, right? Well, no, it’s the mighty tRump and Cabinet that thinks they are all powerful and must be obeyed. Uhm, no. Deal with the failure.
I hope the Supreme Court does the right thing, which is to put a check on immigrants and detainees being given no room to prove themselves. I found out they were *making* people on the plane sign papers that they were members of Tren de Aragua. What the hell is *that* about? Forced coercion? Excuse me. I call bullsh!t, But the sh!t is still rolling uphill. For now.
*****And now, please read a very special request from our awesome boss******
Zoomers, if you can find some spare change in the sofa cushions, we could use it. April starts soon, and that is month six of this depressed media climate we now live in due to Trump Depression Syndrome. We thank you for any help you can give, and most of all, we thank you for coming here to read. Ursula

Where does the SC ruling that Trump acting in his role as President has immunities fit in this case?
