This didn’t take long at all. The Select Committee To Investigate the January 6 Attack On the Capitol is not messing around. Steve Bannon decided to ignore a subpoena and so he will now face criminal referral charges. Bannon’s not bigger than the Department of Justice. Although, who knows? He may have the plane gassed and headed for Belize right about now. It would not be surprising to see.
If a witness ignores a congressional subpoena he will be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor which carries a fine of up to $100,000 and imprisonment of up to a year.
The Committee isn’t messing around with The Former Guy either. Trump is all in a tither now because various “versions” of the video that he eventually released to his “special people” have been requested. Trump’s calling this “illegal” “a fishing expedition” and anything that his aides can think of, as he tears out what’s left of his hair.

Funny, in a no fault state, a married lady with kids can destroy her marriage by cheating & over 90% of the time gets the kids. The wronged husband will be put on child support. If he loses his job & can’t pay, he will have a sheriff sent to his door with a summons to appear. If he has no ability to pay at the time of court, he will be placed in contempt while In court. He will get 30 days in the slammer. He will be led out in handcuffs & legirons. No? U say? Funny. That’s exactly what happened to me. So do tell how this system of justice is the same for the rich & powerful. Bannon won’t see the inside of a cell. Neither will he be fined 100,000 dollars. Believe it WHEN I SEE IT.
