The 96-hour Mike Lindell extravaganza got off to a sputtering start and promptly crashed. Then it went downhill from there. To wit, Lindell went on the air at one a.m. EST Thursday and then signed off after 90 minutes. You believe that? He evidently misjudged how much coke it was going to take him to keep going until Sunday. He should have called Don Junior’s supplier, s/he would have told him.

Yes Sir, ten a.m. came and went. The Faithful, and/or those of us who stare at car wrecks and other unsavory sights because it’s the very nature of the grotesque that you cannot look away, even though you know you should, kept monitoring Frankspeech. Reports came in of some guy droning on about the Bible and 9/11 along with some red haired kid with a mouse on his shoulder helping a reindeer do something, and then Behold! Lindell returneth!

But that was no easy fix. No Lindell looked pretty wiped out at 3:00 p.m. PST. He kept flipping pages in a notebook, to the point where the camera moved from a two shot of Lindell and Brannon Howse to a closeup of Howse, who at least looked awake and wasn’t fidgeting.

So were there millions watching? Um….depends on who you talk to. The Independent:

Just after midday, Mr Lindell claimed: “There are probably millions of people watching right now”.

However, just 24 people were tuned into his Freedom Patriot Network YouTube channel.

On Mr Lindell’s World-Wire website which was also streaming the broadcast, it wasn’t clear how many people were watching, but around 90 people were participating in a live chat at the time.

And you can knock two off of those numbers, at least, because Zachary Petrizzo is covering this for Daily Beast and of course I’m watching Lindell’s doings. That’s what I do. I am Yersoola, Uzilla, something or other Faw, after all.

So far this is the only noteworthy moment that has made it to a few of the news aggregators.

Oh, and while we’re here, the protest of Fox News New York headquarters bombed as well, with just a handful of protestors.

I’m not sure what the love/hate relationship with Fox News is about. Lindell is back there advertising, apparently, yet he calls them out for not wanting to “talk about the biggest crime in history” on their airwaves. Go figure. I speculate that the answer is the old show biz adage, “Money talks and bullshit walks.” As long as Lindell can pay for the ads, Fox is fine, I daresay. They don’t care what Lindell thinks, only that his checks clear the bank. Pragmatism is a virtue, one of the few Fox News can claim.

Meanwhile, it is Dullsville at Frankspeech. Evidently Lindell thinks so, too. He’s not onscreen and Howse is chatting with a right-wing radio host about something George Soros did in 2013. Sigh.

I’ll bet Lindell’s accountants are getting good and drunk. Come Monday they need to explain to him how much this little horse and pony show cost.

    • Hey what’s with the Yugo hate. At least with a Yugo you sometimes get somewhere – and cheap. Lindell is getting nowhere and blowing millions while no one is watching.

  1. 11 were watching on youtube when I just checked – 11. That’s less than what some rando talking about his house plants, or his life hacks, would pick up.

  2. Seems like pillow guy has a lot of troubles with arithmetic. Can’t figure out how more votes means someone wins and election. Can’t figure out how many people are at his “rallies”. I’m wondering if he can count to more than 10 without removing his shoes. This guy had a business?
