Mike Pence is a politician from another age. He would have done alright in a very small town, say running for mayor, if we were still back in the 70’s, or any time of greater innocence than today. I say that because Pence has that glib manner of lying through his teeth which is associated with politicians.
Take a look at this video. A couple of things leap out: 1) Pence is doing a performance; 2) He’s not really in tune with what’s happening. Trump might not get the nomination but it’s a cinch that Pence won’t.
Pence can’t even say Trump’s name out loud. It’s like he’s in denial that Trump really exists.
You know what Pence reminds me of? Some guy who had a love affair with a woman and it blew up in a manner he wasn’t expecting and now he wants to forget that it ever happened. The only problem here is, this relationship Pence had with Trump was documented for years and there’s no way he can pretend it doesn’t exist, or make light of it.
Pence is culpable as hell. He could have shut Trump down earlier, but he didn’t have the guts. it’s well known that Pence did research to see if he had any legal grounds to do anything other than ceremonially preside over the vote count on January 6. And he even phoned Dan Quayle to talk about it. Oh man, that’s going for the really heavy intellectual artillery. Sweet Jeebus.
The more time Pence spends in the spotlight the worse he looks.
Let’s see if he even polls above 1%. If he polls above 3%, I will be completely amazed.
I saw a clip, where Pence said that the death penalty would, in his opinion, be a deterrence to mass shootings. The interviewer said that most of the time these mass shooters had the intention to die when committing this crimes, so how would the death penalty deter them? Pence hemmed and hawed and finally said he is a big believer in the deterrence of the law.
Wow, color me underwhelmed.
If, as Saint Paul wrote, dark “principalities” exist, they need to up their game. Qtip may be a liar, a hypocrite, an accessory to thousands of children being unlawfully ripped from their parents at the border, an accomplice to the mass murder in his response to AIDS as governor, and to covid, a coward, and a venal human being, BUT, he convinces no one but others like him, that he’s a follower of Jesus. Hey Satan. Can’t you find someone better at deception? You’re the father of ALL lies, (and liars), I expect a better effort than Qtip. Maybe you’re still reeling from Job kicking your arse.
Wow, that was a pathetic performance by Pence, especially there at the end. A pathetic, craven coward.
