This is not a good sign. We are being warned about what will happen after the midterms if we flip the House or Senate. Trump is already a cranky old bear. He’s losing his roar. Republicans are in power, but that’s not enough. He simply cannot understand why people don’t like him anymore, if they ever did. That’s part of what we have to be concerned about. Thanks to Raw Story:
President Donald Trump will continue to cause havoc in the Oval Office even if the Republican Party suffers massive losses at the midterm elections, as expected, an expert has warned. Dr. John Gartner believes that Trump is more like an animal at this point in his presidency and will lash out at anything and everyone.
He told The Daily Beast, “A cornered, wounded animal is the most vicious and dangerous kind of animal there is, and that’s where he is right now.
“So what I’m worried about is, even if we win both houses of Congress, he’s still the commander in chief, and he’s still getting off on the omnipotent destructiveness and power of blowing things up.”
Yep. He loves the ‘splody videos that Hegseth puts together for him. He must be rewatching the ones he has, since there’s a nominal ceasefire at the moment. How many of us think he’s going right back to bombing them when the ceasefire ends? Lots of us. What he is trying to achieve in the talks is almost impossible. Get Iran’s uranium? Nope. Free passage through the Strait? Probably also a nope. He can’t control Iran.
Gartner went on to suggest that any thought Trump now has is what he believes, even if it is completely false. He said, “It’s kind of the most primitive type of thinking, where if you imagine it, it must be true. But this is just magical thinking. Anything that occurs to him—any stray, crazy thought—is true.
“His grandiosity is so extreme that not only does he want to be the Pope and Jesus and the president of Venezuela and the Mullah of Iran—he wants to be all of these things at once. He wants the world to worship him, and he wants to erect massive monuments to praise himself.”
That sounds really familiar and right on the spot. The damn ballroom and arch show us exactly that. It’s all in honor of him. Remember that jet he was given? Yes, that too, that adds to it for him to have his own, personal, cushy jet to fly him in excess instead of style. He likely thinks that Air Force One isn’t cushy and expensive enough for him with that jet floating around in the back of his mind.
Trump posted an AI-generated image depicting himself as Jesus Christ to Truth Social, triggering immediate backlash from religious leaders and political figures across the spectrum. The image showed Trump in white robes with celestial light emanating from his hands as he healed a sick man. Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called it “an Antichrist spirit,” while conservative journalist Megan Basham demanded he “ask for forgiveness from the American people and then from God.” After swift criticism, Trump deleted the post and claimed he thought it made him look like a doctor.
Yes, it’s old news, but that fits right in with the “god” idea of what he thinks everyone thinks of him. His fee-fees were probably severely hurt when he got all that backlash. I wonder who managed to get him to take it down. That would be quite a challenge. But remember, he is a cornered and wounded animal now, and beware.
See you soon!
Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of elderly, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
