This is a surprise, even to the people in the White House. Karoline is going offline. For now. You never know with a Trump White House. What will press conferences be like without her perky lips and attacks? We’ve kinda gotten used to her, so we know what sorts of things to expect. Now we’ll have to learn about someone new. It should be a frolic! With gratitude for Raw Story:
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will step down from her role in the Trump administration, she announced Wednesday. President Donald Trump announced her exit in a post on his Truth Social platform. “Our wonderful White House Press Secretary, and one of my most trusted aides, Karoline Leavitt, will be departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family, a decision I totally understand and respect!” Trump wrote.
Trump understands time with his children? YeaNo. Not hardly. And he understands? Really? What does the “survey” say? Is she really doing this on her own, or was she forced out? It surprised the White House (from a different Raw Story article). Therefore, she and her husband likely made the decision. We hadn’t expected her to end this. But she has. The Press Secretary for Trump is certainly a high-stress job!
“Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections,” he added, thanking her for her work on his re-election campaign and administration. Leavitt shared a lengthy statement on X about her decision, thanking Trump for the opportunity to serve in the role, and outlining why she has decided to leave the administration.
Outside advisors? He doesn’t listen to his *inside* advisors, so why would he listen to someone on the outside? Of course she’s young, pretty, and blonde, so he might. The reason behind that may not be something we wish to go into. *Ahem.* She did real work? Say it ain’t so! It seemed like all she did was come out and read notes from someone or other. This may mean she actually had a brain.
“Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least,” Leavitt wrote. “The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.”
My goodness. She’s leaving. We won’t miss her much, if at all. The continuing attacks, even over something one of us would brush off, were getting predictable and starting to sound like Trump. She managed to keep a straight face most of the time. Well, we can wish her well if she never comes back. See ya, KKKaroline.
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

Spending more time with her family is something he can understand and respect. I cry BS! Maybe he understands and respects that’s for women, certainly not anything he’s ever done.
