There are days when Kellyanne Conway seems to pop up out of nowhere, and this time she appeared on Fox News to warn her fellow GOPers/conspiracy theorists to lay off their oft-repeated suggestion that somehow former President Barack Obama is at the controls regarding the Biden White House because this could very well help his buddy, President Joe Biden stay in office.
Former President Donald Trump’s ex-adviser/alternative facts girl began her interview on Fox & Friends Weekend by discussing the White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday night, where of course, her ex-boss was roasted frequently, The Daily Beast reports.
But Biden also dealt with his own share of barbs and Conway was obviously pleased by that.
“Let’s go through some of my favorite, greatest hits when they said, ‘hey, we’re looking for the strings of barack obama pulling your strings,’ thereby making fun of the fact that joe Biden can’t stand alone,” Conway told Fox & Friends on Sunday.
And sure, this may be a poignant line of attack, but it’s one, she said that could backfire quite easily.
“but i do worry, by the way, that that becomes a positive if lots of americans who are fence sitters between biden and trump, if they say, ‘well, if i think obama is really running the white house, running washington, running the world, i’ll feel better about that.'”
There are those of us who remember plenty of Conway’s famous missteps. I don’t believe she’ll ever live that whole “bowling green massacre” comment and her other remarks about “alternative facts” down. I really, really don’t.
But during the Fox News session, host Will Cain had other points to ponder, and he questioned whether anyone is currently trying to figure out which candidate to vote for. He theorized this year’s contest will likely be an “enthusiasm election” where turnout will be low and whichever candidate can energize their base the most effectively will wind up being declared the winner.
“that’s been a challenge for him in the polls so far,” Conway said of Biden.
Kellyanne was loyal to Trump no matter what he did, and her husband, George Conway is disgusted by Trump so of course I know that’s what did their marriage in. And the couple’s feisty daughter, Claudia is also a devoted Trump hater, meaning Kellyanne was the odd one out in this family. So I’m glad two out of these three people have common sense.
This woman turned out to be such a Trump sycophant that she alienated herself from her own family and I’m sure it didn’t help her credibility with her own base.
But hey, at least she didn’t use any “alternative facts” during this interview, which I have included a clip of below.
