Kari Lakes’ legal situation is worsening by the minute but that doesn’t keep her from doubling down and talking the tough talk to any group of MAGAs that she can get to lend her an ear.
You recall December 1, when federal judge John Tuchi ordered Lake pay sanctions on her frivolous lawsuit. That was not a good thing. Now today, Maricopa County is asking for the County’s legal bill to be reimbursed and it’s six figures.

This is what is happening in the real world. In fantasy land, where Lake dwells, none of this is happening and she’s tripling and quadrupling down on her monomania to become Governor of Arizona, the will of the people be damned.

Nobody stole anything, she can’t prove anything. This is Lindell-madness on steroids. And still it continues. So where does all this end, in a psych ward? Because right now, it’s got to be owie owie time when she looks at the bank account with all these court orders flying through the air like bats.
Or, is MAGA underwriting this? I would seriously love to know how all this works. Is some DarkMAGA overlord, somebody like Peter Thiel, possibly, footing the bill for all this? Or is this just Steve Bannon passing the hat all the time? And Trump selling NFTs? This does not seem to be a winning formula, which is why I’m incredulous that it is still going on.
Interesting that you mention some dark money asshole like Theil slipping her the money to pay off these court-ordered payments. Why? Well, like her hero and would-be running mate in 2024 she might decide to try and pull a tax scam. If she accepts and pays out this kind of money but doesn’t declare it either on her personal return or in her campaign’s accounting the IRS will have her ass on tax fraud! Not exactly the kind of thing that would work well for her come 2024 and the general election campaign.

I read a lot and see a few movies & TV shows, and whenever one of the characters uses the ITCH word with a B, one learns to know it’s the Bad Guy.
I can’t recall any of them using the ITCH word on themselves, though, and I’m 77!
