If the Kamala Harris Express goes any faster, they’re gonna have to lay down some high speed rail for that sucker. And at this point, everything is going right for the campaign, and I mean everything.

• The Harris campaign out fundraised the Trump campaign in July, $325 million to $136 million, more than doubling him up. With that haul, the Harris campaign now has more cash on hand than the Trump campaign 95 days before the election
• Harris announced today that in the call in roll call of the states, she has secured the votes to win the nomination. It won’t be official until Monday when the balloting officially closes
• After 12 days of basically putting Traitor Tot into a media Alcatraz, there is no sign of that letting up, much to Trump’s frustration. This weekend will be wall-to-wall media coverage of VEEPstakes, followed by a highly covered battleground state tour of the two of them starting on Tuesday
• Harris announced today that she had brought on Obama political savants David Plouffe and Jen Palmieri to help run the campaign over the last 95 days
• Harris has virtually wiped out Traitor Tot’s lead, both in national polls as well as in battleground states. There isn’t a poll out there not within the margin of error. Except the one I saw on MSNBC yesterday that shows Harris an amazing +11 in Michigan. If more polling holds that up, battleground Michigan may be off the map 90 days before the election
• In that fundraising haul, 66% were from first time donors, with 94% being under $200. It also noted a surge in first time donations from the critical to Democrats 18-29 bloc. And I’ll remind you here that every two year national cycle, some 2.5 million new voters come of age

And when I say that everything is going right for the Harris campaign, I mean everything. The Trump campaign is in free fall, and so is MAGA World. And they’re making it a walk in the park for Harris;

• After 10 days of media exile on a political Isle of Elba, Traitor Tot finally got national media face time at the NABJ conference, and quickly spent 50 minutes driving off anybody to the left of David Duke. And he had no interest in cleaning it up, rather doubling down
• The cats in the sack on the way to the river are starting to maul each other. Mother Tucker, who along with Diaper Donnie Redux were virulent supporters of JD Vance took to Twitter today to savage GOP Senator Lindsey Graham for trashing Vance in the media after being friendly towards him during the process
• Vance is now getting the full blown Trump treatment, and his lack of vetting is killing Trump. Four years ago he trashed gymnast Simone Biles for her mental health issues, and the sympathy it generated. Now they uncovered an interview where Vance said if a woman who was the victim of rape or incest should be forced to carry the fetus to term, to which Vance fatuously replied, It’s not so much a question of what a woman should be forced to do, but whether or not a baby should be allowed to live, even if the circumstances surrounding its origins are inconvenient or socially unpalatable. And there are pro choice initiatives on the ballot in several key swing states this year
• Vance wrote a forward to a new book by the creator of Project 2025. The same dude who is now leaving his job under insane pressure from the Trump campaign. Not that it’s preventing him from taking to the network shows to defend his brainchild

In the more than 50 years that I’ve been politically active, I haven’t seen anything like this since the disastrous 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago. Unlike 1968 though, this time it’s the Democrats who are coming out of their convention like a bull from a rodeo chute, and it’s the GOP that has no realistic possibility of righting the ship, simply because it isn’t a party, it’s cult, and all relevant decisions must come from Glorious Bleater. Don’t touch that dial.
