A foreign policy expert seems to think so, and it’s because of one picture sent to him from the field. Everyone is tired of Iran. Everyone wants our people where they should be instead of blockading the water. Everyone is burned out, but we’re referring to some specific people today. My regards to Raw Story:
Foreign policy expert Trita Parsi flagged an “anecdotal piece of evidence” Sunday as evidence that President Donald Trump’s total “defeat” in his deeply unpopular war against Iran was no longer a question of if, but rather of when. That evidence was a photograph he shared last week that quickly went viral on social media, a photograph of what appears to be the wing flap of a U.S. military KC-130 tactical transport aircraft with dust-scrawled messages viciously mocking President Donald Trump and his war against Iran. Parsi’s post has been viewed more than 18 million times as of Sunday.
The location provenance of the photograph has not been verified at this time. However, it’s still an indication of morale that is so low it’s underground, wherever the plane happens to be. Only Denis among us has an idea of what it’s like in the military, grinding day in and day out. Now imagine that grinding on the water for *9 months*. Remember the information that came back from the USS Lincoln? That was one ship. Just one.
Someone stated it was a civilian writing on the flap of a plane somewhere in the US. If so, where did they get their ideas? They certainly seemed like something someone in the military would come up with. And if not, it’s still creative. If it is civilian, let’s hope it makes it to the military because they would appreciate it, at a guess. You could land the specific plane on an aircraft carrier, but it only clears the tower by about 15’, and Nothing Else can be done while it’s there. They actually tried this out. It never was a war serving America’s interest. It was ships gathering in the Persian Gulf, and we woke up to “Boom! We’re at war!” The bunker busters didn’t really bust the bunkers. And it’s likely Iran has quietly been working to get those under-mountain facilities back open and up and running. If the bombs had done anything but surface, more of the mountain would have collapsed. Please feel free to prove this incorrect.
