Melania has to know there’s not a chance in hell her lawsuit against Hunter Biden will ever be heard in court. It will get dismissed by the judge. Worse, she’ll be out lawyers fees and court costs. This afternoon I’ve wondered why she’d bother, knowing there wasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell she’d get a dime from Hunter. Then I realized Hunter Biden isn’t her “mark.” Hubby Donald Trump is! Please let me explain.
If Melania moves forward the discovery process will take place and it’s a two-way street. Hunter’s lawyers can take depositions from Melania, her in-name-only hubby, Michael Wolfe with his trove of records from all the people he interviewed (on the record) Trump granted him including lots of mutual power players. Oh, and Ghislaine Maxwell who Trump really, Really REALLY wants OUT of the news. Wolfe of course is key and I hope he has good personal security but I’m fairly sure he’s taken steps to ensure all the info he collected is secure and will come out. More importantly he’s the one Hunter Biden clearly cited during that mention of Melania meeting Trump via Donald’s relationship with Epstein and other mutual ‘friends’/business partners.
Trump happened to be in the market for a new trophy wife and Melania “auditioned” for and got the job. There was a typical trophy wife (lots of men besides Trump do this crap) prenup. She’d appear with him in public, supervise the house servants, have a kid so he could nudge his buddies: Proof he still ‘had it’ cause he could knock up some model posing as a wife. And serve a certain number of years after which if she avoided any scandal of her own she’d get a nice payout. Cash, say ten million. A nice condo in a Trump building in NYC and a cottage out in the Hamptons or perhaps somewhere else.
She knew he was screwing around on her of course. But she kept her eye on the horizon as in the payoff once her “contract” (prenup) had been fulfilled. She put in her ten years give or take when Donald decided to run for President. Like everyone else she assumed even if it turned into the nomination and an actual chance in the end he’d lose. With everyone focused on an incoming Clinton administration she could file for divorce. She’s known to have cried on election night when the words President-Elected Donald Trump flashed across TV screens and it wasn’t tears of joy.
Being a mercenary she regrouped and renegotiated her prenup. It wouldn’t be the first time. Jokes have been being made for quite a while now about ‘Well, Melania can renegotiate her prenup.’ And how much she hits Donald up for in ‘appearance fees’ and the terms. I’m sure a certain number of obligatory ones are part of the terms but things come up. Yet there are rules she has laid down as evidenced on how often she avoids being kissed, hugged and the way she so often slaps his hand away. Clearly there’s a set number of times he’s allowed to so much as touch her.
Looking at their whole, sordid history it’s clear that in part she stuck things out to engage in the very type of ‘chain migration’ her hubby (and Melania herself at times) decries. But she wanted her parents to not just move here but get citizenship. Trump had someone keep an eye on things and threw sand in the gears but Melania was relentless and waiting for an opening. When it came within hours final approval was granted and they took their oath of citizenship. Whew! She thought that was that but it also became clear during the years out of the White House Trump would run again and immigration would be a big deal. She probably knew earlier than most that DE-naturalization would be on the agenda!
Anyway, we saw how Melania really feels about her husband at her mom’s funeral. Man were those some pictures to behold after the service! However she’s still got her dad to worry about. Maybe even herself and despite gouging extra money from Donald with revised prenups and appearance fees she feels like she’s gone above and beyond the call on his behalf. She doesn’t just want to be rich from a prenup, she wants WEALTH. Frankly, Donald wasn’t liquid enough prior to recent months to shell out the kind of money she wants. He is, for the moment at least able to now.
What she wants is the kind of wealth to live and live high on the hog wherever she wants. And the ability to leave Barron a hefty sum someday. She has likely looked into moving to other countries. With Barron of course. They could probably get into the UK and he could go to someplace like Cambridge or Oxford. After that I can see her settling in Monaco. Just her kind of place. But she needs serious money and I’m not talking about twenty or even thirty million which is what I suspect would be her current payout.
No, she needs something like a hundred million or more. The Epstein scandal that’s engulfed her P.O.S. husband is LEVERAGE for her. I honestly doubt the goods are there to sustain any criminal charges against her. However she had to know Epstein helped Donald cheat on her. She probably didn’t care all that much. Once she let him impregnate her she probably developed chronic “headaches” and preferred he sate his needs elsewhere. Still, she knew Epstein and Maxwell from way back and there’s plenty of proof of that. She doesn’t REALLY want to get dragged down into that cesspool.
It’s my belief she IS willing to dangle her feet in it though. For enough money. As I said prior to getting back in the White House Trump’s assets weren’t all that liquid. His epic grifting in six months has him flush. So much so I’ll bet tomorrow ole Vlad is going to be asking for a hefty chunk of what was loaned to Trump for all his UK golf courses to be paid back. Vlad won’t want it all – it’s worth him having Trump still owe enough to be able to hold it over Trump’s head. Anyway we’re talking about Melania.
Keep in mind that Melania is ruthless and cutthroat in her own right. And she’s also a grifter. She has after all had a front row seat to seeing how Trump has gotten away with hs own bullshit grifting. She also knows damn well what things were like for Trump’s first two trophy wives and I’d imagine she made the most of chances to hedge her own bets, collecting any “receipts” she could on Trump if he tried to hardball HER when her own time to collect on her own prenup. Melania might be able to bury Trump’s fat orange ass, super-gluing him to Epstein. If so it’s likely Trump suspects if not knows that’s the case. He might figure there’s time to mollify MAGAs and get them back in the fold before the midterms. He might even be right.
However if “receipts” of his own misdeeds and even crimes related to that long, long friendship come out he’s finished and he knows it. Politically would be bad enough but there are a LOT of victims out there and without unwavering and massive MAGA support all of a sudden they’d be in civil court suing for big money themselves. In other words for all his new ill-gotten wealth it’s still if not a house of cards built on sand and can come crashing down.
I’m quite sure Melania has gotten the ‘WTF are you doing? STFU and withdraw that lawsuit NOW’ phone call. She’s got cards of her own to threaten Trump right back, some of which I’ve written about. And like Maxwell has taken steps to ensure whatever she’s got will come out if anything happens to her. Trump may or may not believe it but the mere thought of it terrifies him.
That’s why I’m thinking the $1 billion of the Biden lawsuit is what it is. A shot across Donald Trump’s bow. She’ll settle for a tenth of that amount to be quietly funneled into numbered accounts in other countries. Hell, if the documents setting up and authorizing the transfers are worded the right way if can even be legally defended. At most shady looking but still legal! Making such a BFD suing Hunter Biden is I think a means to an end. Getting the kind of money Melania wants to finally break free of Trump. His paying up and ‘bigly’ is the price he’ll have to pay to get her to drop the lawsuit and forestall those depositions. With the bonus of not adding to the trouble he’s having moving the news past the whole “Epstein thing.”
Admittedly it’s a theory at most. But it’s worth considering so stay tuned.

Depends what’s written in the prenuptial
Prenups can be redone if one side has the leverage to force a change. It seems to have happened more than once with Donnie and “Melanie.” His switching to being active in conservative politics (the whole ‘birther’ thing with Obama which as we know escalated after Obama publicly torched him) gave her considerable leverage. His highly publicized, tumultuous endings to his first two marriages was in a perverted way good for the ‘brand’ he wanted to project. However, once he started thinking seriously about entering elective politics it would have been a disaster. So called Christian conservatives might have come round to him but I really don’t think they would have had he gotten divorced a third time and taken up with trophy wife #4. He knew that and more importantly SHE knew that.
So they became stuck with each other. I’m sure the mutual loathing is epic. Trump hates getting one-upped by anyone but a woman? Who was only supposed to be another in a string of trophy wives who’d enter into her contract, fulfill the terms and move on? Alas, he learned too late she was different than trophy wives 1 & 2.
Ivana was a budding world class skier and gave it up. People forget but Australian pro golfer Jan Stephenson who had success on the course and played up her looks (especially her chest) to gain fame and money but could actually play and win was someone Trump wanted as his first trophy wife. But she wasn’t willing to meet his terms, specifically abandoning her career as a pro-golfer. Ivana however was willing to abandon her potential career as a skier. And that decision established Trump’s control over her. To get to the point as a skier she did Ivana was clearly driven and tough but her walking away to be Trump’s arm candy suggests she didn’t have the kind of ‘ruthless, at least when needed’ trait most world class athletes have. Many are wonderful, caring people in their personal lives but in competition they will cut out someone’s heart and hand it to them and laugh about it later as they collect their trophy and paycheck. Ivana wasn’t truly ruthless.
Allowing herself to be installed in Trump Tower as Trump’s very public mistress, AND staying with him when he planted stories showed Marla Maples wasn’t at all ruthless. She was horrified and humiliated about Trump’s alter-ego planting that story in the tabloids with the “Best Sex I Ever Had” headline but she stuck around. She was lovely and if not a supermodel could have had a successful modeling career but chose instead to be a trophy wife. Did she stand up to Trump at least some? Yes, via not only distancing herself when her time was up but keeping their daughter Tiffany mostly out of Trump World. I can’t imagine how broken-hearted she’s been since Tiffany turned out to be like Don Jr – going to work at the Trump Org for easy money for ‘make-work.’
Melania I think is made of different stuff. Her father was after all a communist Party leader back in their home country. Some make a show back there of liking her but she’s no more welcome in her home town than I am in mine. In my case the seeds were planted when I dared question ‘St. Ronald, the Reagan” sometimes but it was open criticism of Trump that truly tore things with folks back home. Even without her getting involved with Trump Melania, ever her father’s daughter who took full advantage of the undeserved things she got while reaching adulthood wouldn’t be welcomed back in her hometown.
I HAVE come to believe she was always if not as ruthless as Trump at least enough so to identify and take advantage of his weaknesses. When she’s had leverage she’s used it. And it has to have (and contnues to) piss him off to no end. She was I think careful not to get TOO greedy however. Now I believe it’s possible if not likely she sees the proverbial “Big One” out there. That big bet/score that if it pays off will pay off big. Many a person has gone for it and lost out. But some have indeed won their giant gamble. This might be one of those times – the “score” is out there but it takes considerable guts and ruthlessness to go for it. And I think the ruthlessness part is there and its down to a matter of how much guts Melania has.
I keep saying Trump is a heart attack waiting to happen. He’s also for all his talk highly unlikely to be running in 2028. There are too many cracks in his armor now which are likely to get worse and even he might realize he won’t be a viable candidate. IF he plays his cards right he can walk away richer than he dreamed would ever be the case and legally protected and it’s a question of whether he’ll take advantage of that. Either way Melania has I think a fairly short window in which to act IF she chooses to go for broke.
If the Epstein stuff breaks wide open and it might, her leverage will be gone. At least that’s how I see it. The longer she holds back, the more chance something about Trump/Epstein will get out and end Trump. Even with MAGA nation.
Nothing else makes sense. They’d have to go to discovery if it goes further. 47 doesn’t want that. Hmmmm. Let’s see what happens when he comes home after his meeting with Vlad.
