This is somewhat unexpected. Melania Trump has been the queen of the blind eye all these many years. Whatever Donald does is taken in stride. Maybe the arrest and arraignment has put him in a different light. And that could be possible. She may have bought his line of b.s. all these many years because it was prudent to do so, but actually watching him on TV, pushing through the courtroom doors himself and being a defendant, may have been an eye opener.
In any event. Raw Story is reporting that Melania was “conspicuously absent from the post-arraignment Mar-a-Lago grievance fest.”
The former first lady wasn’t seen or spoken of during the event — where Donald Trump Jr. was accompanied by girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Trump was joined by his wife Lara — and the former president didn’t bring her up during his grievance-filled speech, reported the Palm Beach Post.
“I built a great business with my family, built a fantastic business,” Trump told the crowd. “I have a son here who’s done a great job, and I have another son here who’s done a great job, and Tiffany and Ivanka, and Barron will be great some day. He’s tall, he is tall and he’s smart, but I have a great family and they’ve done a fantastic job and we appreciated it very much.”
Melania Trump did not accompany her husband to New York for his arraignment on 34 fraud charges related to hush money payments to two alleged mistresses, but she still reportedly lives at Mar-a-Lago and occasionally spends time with her husband.
She may be worried at this point that the money boat is getting shaky. And since Truth Social is set to go under at the end of the summer, that would be a good bet. Plus, who knows how much money it took to retain Todd Blanche and how much the legal defense in all these pending cases is going to go?
Also, despite MAGA dreams of greatness, Trump’s chances of regaining the White House while under criminal charges from Manhattan and with other charges to come are getting more dubious as the days go by. Trump has been exposed for what he is, a cheap hood who happened to be born to great wealth.
Ostensibly, Melania has a net worth of some $50 million of her own, although that’s a figure obtained by Googling and those are notoriously unreliable. (If you want an example of that, this website is purportedly worth $2 million, dear God, how I wish!)
In all events, facts are facts. Melania wasn’t there and Trump didn’t cite her as part of his wonderful family. That speaks volumes.
If she was angry about Stormy I can’t imagine what a year+ long affair with McDougal =in outrage.
A) She always looks pissed. I’m sure she thinks it is a regal look or some such nonsense.
B) I doubt she gives a happy rat’s ass who lard-ass sleeps with just so long as it doesn’t have to be her.
She’s pissed because all the legal expenses are cutting into her divorce payout when the clause in the pre-nup kicks in. Kinda funny that she spent all these years with Felonius Fuckstump for a payout that’s never coming……….no, wait………hahahahahahahahaha
