Hey, Bratty Matty Gaetz! What’s Wrong? I Thought You LOVE The Spotlight?

What is it with these mental midgets? First you had Flop Gov, Ron DeSantis proudly pronouncing himself to be Trump without the baggage. And now it turns out that closet bedsheet model Steve Scalise several years ago described himself at a pseudo Klan meeting as David Duke without the baggage. When will these morons finally figure out that it’s the baggage that the far right, National Enquirer subscribers that make up the MAGA base love? They love it when their autocrat wannabee’s wear that sh*t right out there on their lapels. Accept no substitutions.

And now on to the baggy pants routine too stupid for vaudeville commonly called the GOP, or Oh! THOSE *ssholes! Somehow or other, I can’t help but get the feeling that the sailing isn’t going smoothly over there. Or, as I like to call it, GOP Paradise Island, where the weather’s always rainy, and the beer is always warm. Hang Ten!

Cast your mind back to January when the GOP made their four day BDSM humiliation flick with Cave-In McCarthy as the star. For 15 endless rounds of balloting, there was Sugar Daddy Gaetz, sitting on his throne, dishing noogies and wedgies at his crew while McCarthy squirmed. At one point McCarthy came over to confront Gaetz, who made a theatrical show of pointing his finger at McCarthy and slapping him down, while his idjits kept them apart. Remember?

Since he got his fondest fetish and dispatched McCarthy, you ain’t seen sh*t of Bratty Matty Gaetz. And it looks like the #3 GOP leader, Steve Scalise wants to keep it that way. In the lead up to the McCarthy vote, pretty much every pro McCarthy member who spoke during the debate period kicked Gaetz’s ass up one side and down the other. One even called him a brazen fraud for daring to fundraise off of his efforts to bury McCarthy. In his responses, Gaetz came across as exactly what he is, a whiny, petulant brat giving his parents sh*t for daring to discipline him.

And now Scalise, reputed to be a top contender for the Speaker’s chair, although in honesty there is no leading contender, since every chucklehead running around trying to play leader can’t get enough moderate votes, is trying to keep the pissing contest under the covers. He is saying that the GOP caucus will take care of business behind closed doors, only bringing a name to the floor when they have the necessary 218 votes locked in solid. Yeah. Good luck with that, fool.

Here’s what Scalise is hoping like hell to keep under the bushel basket. In January he and Gaetz and the other Freedom caucus nihilists wanted the spectacle broadcast of 210 McCarthy supporters running around desperately trying to convince eight out of a 12 member Freedom caucus to give McCarthy a break. So Scalise and Gaetz were able to shine as kingmakers.

This time around, it’s the eight Freedom caucus morons that are running around like newborn mice desperately trying to convince 210 McCarthy supporters to see the light and convert. And that isn’t going to go well. One report I saw on Friday said that a confrontation between two McCarthy supporters and Gaetz almost turned into a punch up before calmer heads stepped in to separate the kiddies.

Here’s the real problem for Gaetz, Scalise, Jordan, and the rest of the far right Trumpsuckers. For the most part, the moderate GOP caucus has been almost as docile and subservient as McCarthy himself. Otherwise, how do 10 thugs in cheap suits keep ruling the roost. But they went a bridge too far. Now they have 210 uber pissed off McCarthy supporters who are motivated not only by vengeance, but also by survival for their seats. And they finally realize that they hold the power.

Since the vote, the McCarthy supporters have not suffered in silence, and MSNBC and CNN have given them full access to vent their spleens. And what they’re saying is poison for the Freedom caucus. They are enraged that a faction that represents 4% of the GOP caucus could engineer a deal that made it possible for one *sshole to bring down the Speaker of the House. There are multiple members who are adamant that the first order of business under a new Speaker will be a floor vote to expel Matt Gaetz from the GOP House conference, making him an independent.

But even worse is their 2nd demand. Even more of them are saying that they won’t cast a vote for a new Speaker that won’t move to amend the House rules to remove the single member call to vacate the chair, but also to amend the rules governing the rules committee, and work with Democrats to actually govern fer Crissakes!

The weasel mouthed proclamations from the Freedom caucus is that they will be bringing a name forward to the floor of the House to vote on by Wednesday, no later than Thursday. And I don’t see how they do it. It took 15 rounds for a 210 majority to convince 10 putzes to come along for the ride. How do those same 10 putzes now convince the other 210 to pony up, especially when what the majority of the 210 want will strip the 10 putzes of the only relevance they have in the party. I just wish MSNBC would stop covering the Israel conflict 24/7, especially when it’s two in the morning in Israel. It would be nice to get some news on this stuff too ya know.
