Holy cow, has he turned himself into a pariah. Staff members have had it up to here, and they want him out. They’re even going to Trump, saying he needs to fire Petey Boy. It seems that conditions were worse than we thought, and we figured it was pretty bad. But outright rebellion? Yikes!
No wonder all this information has been coming out. Your staff can make you or break you. This may only be minnows nibbling away, so it may take a while, but it will have an effect. If you’re such a jerk that a rebellion has begun, it’s all on you and not on them. We have had some things come out, such as SignalGate I and II. Those were pretty big on their own, and the hits kept coming. He had a makeup room put in so he could check his appearance and tweak it if needed before he went out for a press conference.
He’s a prima donna. His way or the highway. Everything has to be done as he directs. He’s just like Trump in that he’ll take attention for “good” things, but will run the hell away from “bad” things. He’ll put the blame on anyone but himself because, of course, he’s*never* wrong. Ha. His never is pretty darn short. The information is getting out. It’s not pretty.

The push has fueled a steady stream of damaging leaks about Hegseth, according to Trump biographer Michael Wolff, who detailed the alleged turmoil in his HOWL newsletter Thursday. “Daily leaks about his blunders, stupidity, malfeasance, and weird conduct — his wife has moved into the Pentagon as his effective second-in-command — have become part of a growing rear-guard rebellion to get him out,” Wolff wrote, according to The Daily Beast. Wolff argued that Hegseth’s lack of experience may have helped him secure the job because Trump wanted a Pentagon leader who would not challenge him.
It’s not just the Pentagon, either. There are those in Trump’s inner circle who think Petey Boy should have been long gone already. That’s something new. We have two levels of “Petey Boy gotta go!” We’ve been thinking about that for a while now. His awful handling of the war should have been the final straw. The whole thing has been an epic debacle. And it’s not doing Trump any good. So far, he hasn’t blamed Hegseth for the problems with the Forever War. That’s also surprising. We all know how Trump pushes his mistakes off on someone and keeps the good “stuff” for himself.
Why is Hegseth still in his position? Will it come down to Trump firing him because he’s a laughingstock now? Or firing him because so many people have gone to Trump and made it clear he needs to go? Could we be so lucky? Right now it’s a toss-up between Hegseth and Patel. It seems that everyone would want to keep their heads down since Noem and Bondi were fired – but apparently not. Does anyone want to place a “bet” (not really) on who Trump will fire next? Because he has multiple choices, and none of them are wrong.
Hegseth is most assuredly in the hot seat, but Patel is close behind. They’ve been public. We don’t know if there are any more in his ‘cabinet’ that have made Trump angry, so for right now we’ll just go with those two. And in the interest of time and space, we’ll just stop right there on Hegseth. Let’s not get started on a rant.
