I guess this had to happen, that Pete Hegseth would decide that real Biblical passages just didn’t do it anymore and so it was time to invoke some fake passages. And where did he find this fake passage? From no other place than Hollywood. That does make sense for a guy who started out on Fox News.

The problem with this, of course, is that it’s easily exposed. Hegseth will have a lot to say to the press in the morning. This is why he hates the press so much is because he can’t get away with the machinations that he would like to get away with.

What’s next for Hegseth to plagiarize? A Few Good Men? An Officer And A Gentleman? We can’t wait.

  1. i would guess that the only book of the new testament that he’s read is revelation, a nearly word for word copy of a much older pagan text. so he probably doesn’t realize the quote from the film is made up.
