Habba Dabba Doo Won’t Give Up and Fade Away

One lost law case does not an U.S. Attorney general make. She’s spouting off about being persecuted again. She’s spouting off about Trump picking her personally again. If she were actually any sort of a lawyer, she’d give it up already. But she isn’t. So she opens her mouth again, and inanity comes out. *Yawn*. From AlterNet:

Alina Habba, the embattled acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, said Sunday she is being targeted for arresting a Democratic congresswoman. During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Habba fired back at her critics, stating, “I was, according to them, ‘unqualified.’ I arrested a congresswoman for a charge of assaulting a police officer. And you know what? I stand by my work.” Last week, U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann ruled that Habba had been unlawfully serving as acting U.S. Attorney since July 1, voiding her authority — though he stayed the order pending appeal, leaving her position in limbo.

The absurdity continues. Apparently, she doesn’t pay attention to how she sounds, and hoo boy, should she. I’m starting to run out of words for stupid. I shouldn’t need more than one. How many times are they going to try and put her somewhere? And how many more times is she going to fail miserably?

In her remarks, Habba portrayed herself as standing firm amid accusations of political maneuvering and partisan bias. In May, Habba made headlines after an incident at the Delaney Hall Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Newark. During a visit by Democratic officials, tensions escalated and Mayor Ras Baraka was briefly arrested on a trespassing charge, only for it to be quietly dropped days later amid mounting criticism. Habba has faced mounting legal scrutiny over her legitimacy in office.

I wonder why. Because of her illegitimacy in office? She does not belong *anywhere* as a U.S. Attorney. She lost a case in NYC for Trump. Given his feelings about Losers why are they trying to put her anywhere at all? She doesn’t belong as anything more than a 2-bit lawyer who barely knows any of the law. Does she have something on Trump? Now *that* would be good for a laugh!

Meanwhile, Habba’s remarks on Fox News were criticized on social media. //// Liberal commentator Vince Wilson reacted to her claim and wrote on the social platform X: “So your qualification is that you kiss Trump’s ring and do his bidding to intimidate political opponents?” //// Political strategist Jeff Timer wrote: “I can say with absolute certainty that I am far more qualified to be a U.S. Attorney than Habba is. Also, I am not a lawyer.” //// John Oleske, an attorney, wrote: “Ms. Habba has it backward: She is unqualified to be a US Attorney because she has no prior experience as a criminal prosecutor. Her arrest of a congresswoman (oh, also the Mayor of Newark) w/o following the DOJ manual is a *result of* that inexperience/lack of qualifications.”

HELLO. What marvelous comments! Yea, I’m laughing, but then I do every time her name comes up. She really doesn’t have much of anything going for her, and a whole lot of nope against her. She fits right in with Hegseth and the rest of Trump’s “cabinet”. No one is going to get fired because Trump would have to admit he was wrong in his choices. We all know how well *that* has worked out. It should be fun to see her next episode. Xitter will have another field day. I can hardly wait. Not.
