Gee, Ya Think?!

The Pentagon is getting creeped out by something, and with good reason. They’ve had enough of the, well, nonsense, and believe what’s happening is dangerous. They can’t operate properly. But she’s always around. They’re joined at the hip. We know what’s going on. We knew it on day one. We screamed into the void that this was a Very Bad Idea. It needs to be changed, but at this moment, there is no way to do so. Maybe someday. My regards to Raw Story:

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth relies so heavily on his wife that he has put her in sensitive security roles, which has alarmed insiders. According to a Wednesday New York Times article, Hegseth has leaned on his wife, Jennifer, so heavily that current and former officials say it has clouded his judgment and raised questions about his leadership.

Now the title fits right in, my August entertainment. She is *always* with him. He may go to the restroom by himself, but it seems that’s the only time. We don’t even know if she has a security clearance for everything she’s attended. Pete has the clearance. He has to in order to run the Pentagon. But she doesn’t need to be in meetings that require a clearance because she has nothing to contribute. This isn’t her schtick. No, sticking to Petey Boy is her job, not security meetings, especially with other countries’ intel officers.

Back on the first day, when he was starting his interview for the position, she was there. When, unfortunately, it moved to the full Senate, she was there. She was in Hegseth’s Signalgates, when she had NO need to learn about an attack up and rolling. The list goes on from here, but we can certainly extrapolate the scenarios. We need to wonder about his and her mental states in this. He’s under a ton of stress because he was stupid with the Forever War of Iran. How much does she know, and she shouldn’t know it at all, in those meetings? How much does Hegseth tell her when they’re alone?

He’s also gone further, bringing her into a highly sensitive meeting with top British defense officials after the U.S. temporarily stopped sharing military intelligence with Ukraine, The Times noted. British intelligence officials were forced to speak in general terms about the officers on the ground in Ukraine because they were uneasy with Jennifer’s presence. “This is not normal,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said in an interview with MSNBC last year. “Secretary Hegseth has one of the highest levels of classification access. He can’t just hand that to his wife and say, ‘Here, honey, hold my beer, and hold my classified information.'”

Absolutely not. That is not her position. She is attached to him but does nothing else except hang around and get in the way. She is not attached to the Pentagon. We can be assured that she’s there to keep Hegseth under control and away from alcohol. But otherwise, really, why *is* she around All The Time?  Did she go to the stupid Quantico speech? What does she think of the “woke” nonsense and testosterone tests? Eventually, something will come out. It always does. In the meantime, we can see what else we remember about that pair, and have fun theorizing.

We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love.
